• This is my first home, and so when my AC stopped cooling I panicked. I had know idea who to call or what to expect. I called my mom and she knew what to do. She called the company she knows and trusts for years, Chesapeake Heating and Air Conditioning. Within minutes Mrs. Mary was calling me to schedule the technician, same day. I told her I thought it was a leak. The technician told me testing for a leak would cost more than the fix. He reassured me my system was new and in excellent condition, and probably wasn’t charged correctly when installed. He measured my refrigerant and saw it was just slightly low. He filled it and the invoice was so much smaller than expected. My mom had already signed me up for the maintenance contract when she initially contacted them, she’s been on the plan for years and every season she never has to worry. I feel much more confident now. I’ve had my first maintenance visit since the initial tech visit and it is so important to have piece of mind these days. I feel better knowing them coming to check and clean my system 2 times a year will minimize surprises as well as keeping my system running clean and properly. I am going to keep my maintenance records also because if I ever sell my house I have a paper trail of services and maintenance. I can’t thank this company enough. I am looking into having a soft start installed to my system, I’ve been researching. I will be calling Chesapeake Heating and Air Conditioning to see if they can install one for me and I will give you all an update. Big shout out to this company, all the techs and Mrs. Mary on the phone have made me feel safe and important.

• We were under contract with a large HVAC co. in this area when one of our 2 units stopped working in 100+ degree weather, they offered to come look at it in 3 days... we had small children staying in the house overnight and our ceiling upstairs was literally raining from the heat. When we called Chesapeake Heating and AC they arranged to come that day!!! They quickly diagnosed the issue, and found the necessary parts locally and came back to resolve the issue that evening, and charged a very reasonable rate for the level of service. Through his knowledge and diagnostics, was also able to make us aware of other issues which should be addressed to ensure the best outcome for the HVAC. • In the 5 years since we’ve lived here this is the 3rd HVAC company we’ve done business with. And it will be the only one from now on. The first installed our unit and promptly went out of business.
