• I have been using Moonie from Tropical Heating and Air for all my HVAC needs, for many years now. I will say up front, he is not the cheapest, but that is because he has a superior understanding of, and commitment to quality and longevity, every aspect of HVAC work compared with anyone else we had used in the past. If you want an absolutely cheap throwaway system that only needs to last a few years so you can sell your house? He's not your guy. But if you want to fix or upgrade a system, or install a new one and do it right, it's worth at least a consult with Moonie. He'll give you a proposal, explain what parts he's using, where he sources them from and why, and what your alternatives are ... and he'll give you an honest assessment. If you go with him? He honors his word, he gets the parts, shows up, and gets the job done.

• One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Was given an appointment between 6:00 and 9. It was after 9:00 so I called to check to make sure someone was still coming. Was told someone is but they may be running late which is no problem. However, the technician called me venting about how he didn't even know that he had an appointment for me..
