  • A&H installed our HVAC system in 2014 when Dale and Reinhardt were still running the business. Since I trusted A&H to be reasonable, I called them for help. Even though Trina, the office person, is still fielding calls, A&H is no longer the same. I left a phone message and a text message on July 21, and Trina called on July 22. A technician was available from 11:00 to 1:00, so we waited for him. Manuel Diaz arrived at 12:00 and asked us questions about the unit, checked out the unit inside the house and found no issues, so he went to check the condenser outside and found the capacitor needed to be replaced. The whole process took less than 20 minutes. We were billed through an online service, so when we saw the bill for $450.00, we were surprised at the cost. $165.00 for the inspection seemed reasonable for San Jose, but the capacitor cost was $285.00, more than 10 times the cost of the part online. Manuel Diaz had recommended A&H’s monthly warranty as did Trina when I called to ask about the expensive capacitor. I learned a valuable lesson about trusting a business I thought I knew.

  • Really good experience and appreciate the quick repair. Reason for missing a star is price was really high for being on-site for 40 minutes (especially knowing how much copacitors and contactors cost). But, in the end - they did a great job.
