• Starting with the helpful folks at the front desk, the experienced and diligent trades people who easily handled a fairly complicated job, and finally the supervision of Mike, the installation of a new furnace, hot water heater and A/C was a very good experience. You can't beat great communication, knowledge, timeliness and skill. The folks at Academy have it all in spades. And they are local people with an operation that's big enough to handle the job but not too big that you are forgotten. The manager, Mike came out to our house to explain our options and then provide a detailed quote with options. He then set everything up. It all went to plan on time and on budget. And Mike came back at the end to insure that we were happy. It was a big thing for us and we felt comfortable from start to finish. First class, safe, reliable and respectful outfit.

• 1- Had them replace a tube heater. Cut the exhaust off so all the steam was going up into the soffets as well as forming icicles on gutter. They added an extension onto exhaust. 2 - Had them put in a natural gas hotwater tank. Took 2 days and seemed pricey. 3- They quoted me $500 to replace anode in hot water tank. Seems like a very high price for the job.

• We had an AC unit installed in our home. We had Mike come out to see what would be required for installation. He went through all the details of what we would require. He did give us a time line, but the guys were able to come out earlier than estimated. The guys who did the installation were so friendly and personable. Our thermostat gave them some issues but they made calls to another coworker and got it going! They kept a clean work place and ensured we knew how to use the system and the maintenance required before they left. • Excellent company with superb office and field staff. This October during the COVID pandemic we required a residential gas furnace service call which was completed by the service rep Matteo who determined and showed us that two of our furnace burners were partially corroded away. The new furnace quotation was completed by the HVAC Manager Mike Patterson during an on-site visit. Removal of our old furnace, AC and installation of new Lennox furnace, thermostat, ductwork modifications, two new humidifiers, electrical was completed by their furnace installation team of Kane & Connor. Everyone involved in our project was very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and highly skilled. Work execution and cleanup was completed to our total satisfaction. I would recommend this company in an instant. Thank you Academy Mechanical Services Inc. A follow-up review on our annual furnace inspection March 3, 2023, Service techs Eric & Garrett were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. Took apart and serviced our two furnaces, vacuumed and brush cleaned burners and checked all components for working order. Upon reassembly a leaky gas pipe was noted and was retightened and checked with soapy water for no leakage. Both cleaned up after themselves, A positive experience here. Thank you.
