• I booked Atmosphere on the recommendation of a friend. Finding a plumber that you are comfortable working with is not easy. We've had experiences with some good old boys who were a bit sketch, some slick dudes who acted like they were doing us a favour and some other questionable and expensive "plumbers". • We were quoted $250 to replace our kitchen sink and faucet had they noticed that additional plastic pipes would be needed during the quote as the outlet was on the opposite side we'd have been notified that the job would have additional $397 in costs came as a surprise when we got our bill. We were happy with the install and installer but their should have been more due diligence in regards to the extra piping as during the quote they never looked underneath the sink to see that outlet was on the wrong side that could have been given a heads up that the additional costs would be more than the original quote of $250 should have been noticed during the original quote at the time which was disappointing. Still happy with the new sink also not notified about additional costs for Truck fee & other consequential that made the job an extra $397 on top of original $250 quote.

• ⭐ 1-Star Review – $867.50 for 11 Days of Air Conditioning My experience with Atmosphere Plumbing & Heating was deeply unsatisfactory due to both the quality of the service and the way the company handled the situation afterward. I initially contacted them because my A/C system was inefficient and possibly leaking. Their technician provided two options: a stop-leak product or a full diagnostic. I opted for the proper diagnostic and repair approach. According to them, they found a loose nut, tightened it, and recharged the system — all without providing an estimate or breakdown beforehand. I was charged approximately $900. In the days following the repair, the cooling slowly began to weaken again. By the 11th day — confirmed by thermostat logs (email errors available) — the A/C had completely failed. When I contacted the company, they were immediately dismissive, stating it must be a new issue and denying any responsibility for the original work. I offered to pay for another full diagnostic and any necessary repairs — I simply asked not to be charged again for a second recharge, since the system had already failed so soon after the first service. They refused. Their only offer was to reinspect the system at no charge. After I expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of the situation, they escalated the matter by referring me to a collections agency. I provided full context to the collections representative, who ultimately dropped the case. Despite that, Atmosphere later emailed me threatening to place a lien on my home if I did not pay the invoice — even though the statute of limitations on such a claim had already passed. I found this threat inappropriate and unnecessarily aggressive. Eventually, they returned to assess the system again. The technician later phoned to confirm that, during this second visit, he had to cut open the panel to access and inspect the internal components — something that was never done during the original diagnostic. Which was odd, as they stated they did a proper diagnosis the first time? They then quoted over $2,000 in additional repairs and again denied any fault in the earlier visit. At that point, the only resolution they offered was to apply my previous $867.50 invoice as a credit — but only if I agreed to replace the entire A/C system, which they estimated would cost around $6,500. There was no acknowledgement that the original diagnosis might have been incomplete or that the initial repair had failed to solve the issue..
