UPDATE: The owner called me after seeing the review and wanted to know more about the situation. He ultimately offered to refund any fees, which I appreciated. I received the check less than a week later. Original: Called Action because I had some obvious water damage in my ceiling. The technician showed up an hour outside of his time window (showed up at 12:15, window was 8-11am). I had called the company inquiring where the tech was and they were baffled that “no one had reached out to me” and “that he should be on the way soon”. The tech arrived and said “I finally made it”. Did not apologize. He took 10 minutes, determined it was an HVAC issue instead of plumbing, and wanted to charge me 175$ for the service fee. He said he could take off the travel cost because of the inconvenience, so I spent 135$. The HVAC guy came a few days later, was kind and knowledgeable. It has been over 7 days since the HVAC guy came, and I have heard nothing. He told me I would hear from them in the next few days regarding the plan moving forward. I called the company again and apparently, they have no record of the HVAC guy coming, no notes. I spoke to the HVAC manager who said “I don’t know what’s going on, I only had a note to call you.” And he didn’t apologize. Zero people skills. Zero communication. And I’m out 135$ and still have a leaking ceiling. Go anywhere else for your HVAC and plumbing needs.

Austin L. did a terrific job with our plumbing. We had our kitchen remodeled and he fixed the leaking problem another plumber had botched. We paid $959.00 for the plumbing and it probably wouldn’t have cost that much if Austin had been there to do the work but Action Plumbing sent over another Plumber named Ken B that hooked everything back up and left us with we had a pretty significant leak under our sink. Ken came back the next day and said the leak was coming from our disposal and we needed to replace it, so Ken put in a new disposal, but after he left and told us everything was working fine, we had that same significant leak going on. I was really upset because our disposal was not that old, so we paid for a disposal we did not need. When I called Action again about the leak, I asked them to send over a different plumber and that’s when Austin L showed up to save the day! He fixed the leak immediately and also straightened out the dishwasher that Ken had put in crooked. We are very pleased with Austin’s work! Thank you so much for your work. 😊

I’ve been using action plumbing and heating since I purchased my first house in 1997. Over the years there have been many different reasons to have them come out and service our equipment. Every single time they are professional from the time they pick up the phone till the service person leaves the house The thing that sets them apart from other service people is that they are always kind and respectful, and they never make me feel stupid for not exactly understanding the process And I’m not kidding they’re always smiling :).

Ken was a very knowliable guy. He informed us what we needed to order since it wasn't something they had on they're truck. And had us runnigng until then. Said to call when it stopped once the parts came in and it had stopped running.. Ran for quit awhile before we had to call him. Very happy with his expertise!!

Ismael was my service tech and arrived right on time. He took the time to listen to my heating issue and once he found the problem, showed me what it was and promptly fixed it. He also explained the concept of the heat pump, thermostat and humidifier in a way that I could understand how it works. He also suggested what type of filter to use and made sure that my lights were turned off downstairs after completing the service. Give this guy a raise! I would also like to thank the office staff for getting me serviced the next day. My heat went down on one of the coldest Thursdays in December. I will highly recommend this company to others!
