I’ve lived (owned) my house for 16 years. I bought a new ac unit as mine was a tiny small green one that was 20 years old when I bought my house. It worked okay. Bedrooms were nice. Kitchen was nice and cool but we knew we needed an upgrade. I bought my new one 3 years ago. A couple months ago it just wasn’t cooling anymore. They said I need ALL new insulation up in the attic. Talked to several others who also have no basement and don’t have this issue at all. They then came out a second time and changed the thermostat again. Had an attitude that it was all the attic. So since they put the new ac unit in all of a sudden I need insulation??? My kitchen is HOT. Probably 80 some degrees. Our two and only two bedrooms we can sleep in without our window ac on but our bathroom is like a freezer. The bathroom is further away from the kitchen so not sure why we absolutely get no ac in there. I’ve been told the ductwork looks great. He was annoyed. Charged $250-$300. It’s sad how much business charge and how sad the service you receive is. At least I have 3 window ac now. Thinking of buying one for the kitchen too. That makes sense. Spend over $8000 for a new ac just to buy window ones. Find someone who cares.

Our air conditioner stopped working. I called them in the morning and they were at my place around noon. They diagnosed and completed the repair in about 45 minutes. Repair was quick and the price was very fair. I highly recommend this company.

Capitol Heating and A/C was quick to respond to our service call. Their technician, Marshall, arrived within 24 hours, diagnosed the problem and replaced the fan motor in our A/C unit very quickly. Have used them for annual inspections for many years. Always happy with their work!

In 2020 our cooling system failed. After obtaining several quotes, Capital Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. won our business. Professional, Courteous and Timely installation at a price we believed equitable to the product selected. Since that time, Capital has visited our residence every six month, like clockwork, maintaining our systems to function at their optimal level. We will always utilize Capitol Heating & A/C and will advise our friends and neighbors to do so as well.

Came first thing the next morning after we called. Technician was kind, honest, helpful, and provided a quick summary of the work done. We had Capitol come out when another company led us on for almost 3 weeks, leaving us in an 85° home and unwilling to provide a diagnosis. Capitol was able to fix in 2 hours what the other company couldn’t in 2.5 weeks. Pricing was reasonable. Would highly recommend again.

The lady who took the call was very courteous on the phone and as promised, the serviceman, Aden, called prior to his arrival. He was very nice and listened when I explained how I noticed the ac wasn’t working. Within a half hour he had checked the outside unit, rinsed it out and replaced the capacitor. He came inside to turn the unit on and stated it was an easy tepair and that the unit looked good. This company was recommended to me and has been very good to work with. They initially installed my unit a few years ago and I will continue to work with them in the future.

Nice guys but after they left I found multiple shards of metal on the floor that I was milliseconds away from stepping on. I also have pets that could’ve been hurt. Multiple sharp screws left on the ground, as well as trash and some white substance smeared on my coffee table. The guy was also nice enough to leave my toilet seat up after using the bathroom. 🤷‍♀️

Went with this company based on other customer feedback. My experience has been less than impressed to downright feeling ripped off for a unit that is supposed to be virtually touch less after Insulation. However, the product that was installed has been worked on numerous times to no avail of a successful fix. Same issues first experienced. When initiating the first fix it contact still persisting years later! Stay far, far away from this company. It is not worth your time or energy in working with them.

Fixed a leaking vent pipe, hooked up a humidifier, and cleaned/serviced the AC unit. Marshall was right on time, explained everything, did the necessary work, and cleaned up afterward. I was very pleased with the job and his professionalism.
