Just Google “Action Plumbing lawsuit.” I personally would have gone with BeeHive Plumbing for any job you want done correctly. Action originally came out at the beginning of the year to reline my main sewer line. Since then, I’ve had to have them come back multiple times to fix problems caused by the liner they installed. They even tried to tell me I was flushing things I shouldn’t have been, when the issue was actually caused by their work not being done correctly. Then, to be criticized for having them come out so many times when all I want is for my pipes to work and be repaired in a professional manner is ridiculous. John even threatened to void my contract if I had another company fix the problem. Not very professional. I’ve wasted a ton of time dealing with this company, between being completely ghosted for several scheduled technician appointments and having technicians show up without the right equipment or knowledge to do the job. This is especially frustrating when I’ve been very clear with the office about the problem and what the job would require. What a headache. They can unclog a drain like anyone else, but I wouldn’t recommend this company for a job that requires a little more expertise or the correct tools. I’ve now had two different companies tell me that the work Action performed was less than satisfactory. I don’t claim to be a plumbing expert. I’m just a customer who expected the job to be done right, especially after paying professionals to do it.

The most predatory and incompetent plumbing company I’ve ever dealt with. DO NOT USE ACTION PLUMBING. LOOK AT THEIR BBB REVIEWS FOR YOURSELF, NOT JUST GOOGLE REVIEWS. I called Action Plumbing to clear a clogged drain after spending all day trying to fix it myself. They promised a technician within 30 minutes but arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes later. I had already removed my toilet, which the plumber said would save me $100. He then quoted $750–$1,200 just to clear the clog. Exhausted and wanting the problem resolved, I agreed to the $750 option and applied for financing. Instead of financing just the repair, they got me approved for a $7,000 credit card I didn’t need. The plumber augered the drain for about 15 minutes, claimed he cleared it, and left the problem unresolved. His “supervisor” then arrived, insisted on running a supposedly free camera inspection, and used the standing water he found to claim my sewer line needed excavation with a mini excavator. He said it would cost approximately $7,000 and repeatedly pressured me to proceed, asking how much financing I had been approved for. He kept insisting the payment would be just $78 a month, conveniently failing to mention that meant 132 months—11 years of payments. I refused to make such a major decision without a second opinion. After they left, I found massive muddy footprints throughout my bathroom and my toilet reinstalled over the still-clogged drain, meaning I would have to remove it again. They also stuck a sticker (not a magnet) on my water heater facing my driveway entrance, leaving their advertising staring at me every time I walk in. The next morning, I called Roto-Rooter. Their technician arrived on time, gave me an honest upfront price, and explained their financing clearly. He cleared the clog in about 30 minutes. His supervisor then used a camera to provide clear footage of the pipe and explain the underlying issue. They showed me what was happening, explained my options, and left the decision entirely up to me. Both cleaned up after themselves, including the mess Action had left, and left with a smile. The problem Action claimed would require $7,000 in excavation was cleared in 30 minutes by a competent plumber. Action failed to resolve the problem, exaggerated the severity, and pressured me to take on years of debt while I was in a vulnerable situation. I contacted Action requesting a refund because they never cleared the clog. I was promised a manager’s call between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The deadline passed with no call. After I called twice, I was told management was out in the field. Later, I received a text saying they’d call Monday. Apparently, they have plenty of time to sell you an $7,000 repair but not 15 minutes to address a complaint. I will never use or recommend Action Plumbing again. I will share this experience anywhere I can because people deserve to know what they’re getting into. Based on my experience, this company prioritized sales over solving the problem, used high-pressure tactics, left my home a mess, and failed to provide basic customer service. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOME

Subpar experience would be an understatement. We had 3 outlets not working and called this company to assess and fix. See below. 1. After tech “inspection”, he left us with 5 outlets not working. 2. He took a deposit on our card for $1,555 When calling the company main office, they had no record of deposit. 3. We had a scheduled appointment for 1pm - 4pm for repair work. At 2:30pm (after hearing nothing from the company (no confirmation message) we called them. Their response was “I will see if we can get someone out and I will call you back”. We never received a call back. We have never dealt with a company this unorganized or unprofessional. With all the options in the city it would be wise to avoid this one.

I can’t say enough good things about Andrew! He went above and beyond by coming all the way up to Pleasant View to help me, and from the moment he arrived, he was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood my options before getting started. Andrew did an outstanding job and clearly takes pride in his work. He was efficient, respectful, honest, and made sure everything was done correctly before he left. It’s refreshing to find someone who genuinely cares about doing quality work and taking care of his customers. I highly recommend Andrew to anyone who needs a plumber. If you want someone you can trust to do the job right, Andrew is definitely the guy to call!

Quoted $49, then told $249 because we rent. We called Action Plumbing to schedule drain snaking after seeing their $49 offer on Google and their website. We explained that we were renters, and the $49 price was confirmed during a recorded call. They called FIVE times changing the arrival window. We are now more than 24 hours past their last promised arrival time, still without service. Then we were told we could not receive the $49 offer because we rent rather than own our home, and our price would be $249. I did not see a homeowner-only restriction in the advertisements we viewed, and we had already disclosed that we rented when they confirmed the quote. When we reminded the representative about that recorded conversation, his response was, “I don’t care.” We asked to speak with his boss and were told, “He won’t be talking to you. I’m telling you what it is.” He refused to provide contact information for a supervisor, corporate office, or anyone who could address the situation. He then called us “cheap” for expecting them to honor their quoted price. Wanting a company to honor its own advertisement and confirmed quote does not make a customer cheap. Renters deserve respectful treatment, clear pricing, and reliable service just like homeowners. After this experience, I also learned that Utah regulators announced legal proceedings against this company in January 2025 alleging deceptive business practices, which adds to my concern. Repeated delays, a $200 price increase, insulting comments, and refusal to let us speak with management made this an extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend Action Plumbing.

I have used action heating, pumbing and air for a while. Generally, I get a great experience. This time, I've had the worst experience with the workers. And the people who you talk to on the phone for scheduling appointments. The work is being done for my father. In-law as his caregiver, I am trying to help him. We call because he has vaulted ceilings. And the smoke detectors are going off, they're old. We went to replace one, and it fell apart. We call action. They come out in the same day matter of fact early in the morning. They tell him he needs to replace all of his detectors. We say, okay, fine, they turn off the one. That's beeping and come back the next day. They do the work, put new ones in. He tells them there's still one beeping, apparently, they couldn't understand him. The language barrier was not good. It beeps all night long. We call them this morning first thing. So let them know that they're still beeping. And he's not been able to sleep. He's almost 80. He's very upset. I talked to the lady who couldn't fix the issue immediately over the phone has to call me back 15 minutes later. Then, tells me they should be able to get to him. This afternoon, maybe. When I asked if this could get done sooner due to the fact he's elderly. And this has been going on since last night. They didn't fix it correctly. She huffs at me and says they can only do what they can do. Excuse me, you're the one who didn't get the work done. The right way, and when he told you, it still wasn't done. They ignored him and still left. It had been one thing if you know, you said you were busy. And you had a full schedule, and you can get back to Em. No, you flatly rudely, no emotion. Sounded, as if you could care. Less, talk to me as if you could care less. And sounded, as if you didn't even care to do your job. With this interaction with you guys, this will definitely make it, so I choose other people to come. Do any other stuff that I need to have done? If this is how you're gonna talk to people. And if this is how you treat the elderly, I would be ashamed to know how they treat their own parents. I'll update my review once I actually get someone to call me back with the manners and actually cares to do their job. Side note per the list that they have here on the surfaces that you can have done there 'S.A. few of these. I'd like especially the garbage disposal at my house. And my father-in-law's house. We both need things done with the sprinkling system. I apparently will need to go find Somebody Else to go. Do these things? Services

My daughter came running upstairs telling me that water was coming from under the toilet in her bathroom. I immediately called Action Plumbing and they were very responsive and helpful. They sent Jared and Cole out within a couple of hours. They ran a bunch of tests and were able to clear the clog without having to do any serious drain work. They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would highly recommend using Action Plumbing!
