Staff was rude and extremely unhelpful. Spoke with the supervisor and the main customer service rep who both had attitudes. When I asked for the name of the company so I could let my home warranty company know, the supervisor refused to tell me who he worked for.

I have seen many negative reviews on this company. But, my experience on the plumbing side was great. I had a 16 year old hot water heater that leaked and the previous owners of my home never put a pan under the heater. Alfonso my tech came out promptly and did the repair very quickly and was very clean and friendly. I had them come out through my warrant service American Home Shield. I have not used them for HVAC work yet. But, the plumbing section did a great job.

A great company. They were quick, attentive and professional. My AC went out in the Vegas summer. They were sent out by my warranty and the tech gave me my options. I decided to go with a new unit and they quickly got me scheduled and everything completed. Yvonne has been great in working with the warranty company and answering all my questions. She continually took responsibility to get the answers and coordinate with the warranty company. Great Service!

Great communication with this company; Yvonne was great to work with in resolving our water heater issue, breaking it down and explaining the costs. This company was assigned by our home warranty, and I would use them again.

They were called through my home insurance American home shield and they claimed my ac compressor or compactor that is in a sealed unit was physically damaged and rejected the claim. Neither these frauds nor American home shield would explain how a part in a sealed unit would be physically damaged whatsoever that means. I had another company that I looked at it and told me it is from wear and gait and the issue arises from fuse that melted and couple of parts went out. Horrible company, fraudulent and non ethical Liers

An employee driving this company’s van on 7/26/26 around 4pm on Summerlin Parkway was driving extremely erratically and dangerously. He was aggressively tailgating and trying to cut other people off. Very bad look for the company. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

They installed a faulty rebuilt fan on our unit that sounds like an airplane landing in the living room. The neighbors have been complaining for about 2 weeks. They finally got the parts and schedule a 3rd appointment to finally get it fixed. They set a 4 hour window and gave us a 10 minutes heads up that they would be there. My wife was 2 minutes away and I told them that she would be there shortly. They drove away as she was pulling in. They are refusing to come back, even though they were still in the neighborhood. I guess this is how they treat their customers that use a home warranty. Faulty parts and multiple trips.

When I called to schedule an appointment in the late afternoon, they were able to get someone out the following day which was already a great start. Miguel arrived and turned out to be the gold standard for service! He went above and beyond to fix my faulty T&P valve he didn't have the part on hand, so he drove straight to Lowe's to buy one just to ensure I wasn't left with issues over the weekend. He explained everything clearly and knew his stuff inside and out. After the install, he double-checked the outside drain pipe to confirm the overflow had stopped dripping onto my neighbor's porch. He didn't leave until he was 100% sure the problem was solved. Nowadays, you just don't see many people going out of their way like this to make sure the customer is fully taken care of. Ask for Miguel.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Advanced Home Services concerning an air-conditioning service visit arranged through my home-warranty company. I paid a $110 home-warranty service fee for the visit. During the inspection, I personally observed the technician examining the outdoor condenser and spraying a substance around areas of the unit. I also understood from my conversation with him that there might be a difficult-to-locate “microleak” and that I should monitor the system over approximately the next 30 days. The problems became more serious afterward. I repeatedly requested documentation of the service visit and waited approximately 10 days before receiving an invoice that I found difficult to read and inadequate in documenting key aspects of the inspection. It did not clearly resolve such basic questions as the precise refrigerant quantity added, relevant measurements, leak-check activity, diagnostic findings, or the possible microleak discussion. I then spoke with a supervisor and was given a materially different characterization of the visit. I was told that the technician reported the AC system was working fine, was producing cold air, and that the cooling simply was not to my satisfaction. I was also told that only approximately one ounce of refrigerant had been added and that I may have confused this visit with prior service from another HVAC company. Because I remained concerned, I independently hired another licensed HVAC company, Pure Plumbing & Air, to inspect the same system. For $19, that technician provided a detailed written inspection supported by photographs and video. The inspection documented an 80°F return-air temperature, 69°F supply-air temperature, and only an 11°F temperature split. The technician also documented a significant amount of oil residue on and around the compressor and throughout the condenser cabinet, described this as a strong indication of a refrigerant leak, and concluded that the system was not cooling efficiently and that the evidence was consistent with refrigerant loss due to a leak. The contrast was remarkable. I paid $110 for the Advanced Home Services visit and received delayed, difficult-to-read, and inadequate documentation that left me arguing over what had occurred. I paid $19 for the independent inspection and received clear measurements, detailed findings, photographs, video, and professional documentation that I could actually use. I have formally provided Advanced Home Services and my home-warranty company with the independent report and supporting evidence and requested that Advanced Home Services not be reassigned to perform further work on this HVAC matter. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Advanced Home Services.

They were dispatched as part of my AHS home warranty plan for a bathroom sink stoppage. The plumber arrived but did not bring any tools or equipment. He just snapped a few pics. I knew immediately it was a scam and he was only here to deny my claim. The plumber refused to clear the drain after waiting all weekend for an appointment. I found another company (Lee - highly recommend) who came out and cleared the stoppage in maybe 5 minutes.

I have now worked with AHS on multiple occasions. Twice through my home warranty, and once directly. They have been quick to respond and provided top quality service. They helped me out after a brand new water heater turned out to be a faulty unit. Ray and Serge are awesome and I will definitely use AHS in the future. Hopefully not for a while!

I have to agree with the other one-star reviews. I highly recommend that American Home Shield (AHS) reconsider its partnership with this contractor. My home warranty company assigned this business to handle a standard service call for an aging water heater that simply needed a straightforward replacement. I expected the job to be fully covered by my AHS deductible. Instead, the company submitted an estimate that was significantly higher due to several recommended "modifications" that were entirely unnecessary for a standard replacement. Because of these tacked-on costs, the warranty company informed me I would have to pay an additional $1,000 out of pocket. Suspecting that the company was either inflating the scope of work due to low warranty payout rates or taking advantage of warranty clients, I decided to cancel the claim. I purchased the water heater and the required parts myself, completing the entire installation in under an hour for less than $700. It is highly disappointing when a contractor appears to prioritize generating commission through unneeded upsells rather than providing honest, efficient service. The sole positive aspect of this experience was working with Yvonne. She was incredibly pleasant, professional, and helpful with both scheduling and follow-up. Aside from her excellent service, I cannot recommend this company. Proceed with caution.

The team at AHS are excellent. I needed a quote to replace my entire AC system and they sent a technician the very next day (Friday). By the following Monday, I had a brand new unit installed. The guys were very respectful, clean, and professional. Highly recommend this company.

Poor customer service. Call them this week to request my invoice and the lady who answered the phone was rude. She said I am not able to send you the receipt today because we are going to be off. I told her she still had 30 minutes of her day left and she didn't care. She said she would send it by the end of the week. This is not a good example of customer service. People at this company are rude and make you feel it. Shame on you guys being a vetted provider for American Homeshield Warranty company. They need to re assess their contract with you all.

Stay clear of this company. Technician gave a diagnostic to my home warranty company on my water softener as defective without touching the device or attempting to snake any drainage. Got a second opinion from another plumbing company a day later and confirmed that it was a light clog in my piping causing the issue and the softener worked fine. Just a cash grab company.

Total scam and ripoff! American home shield sent them out for my water heater. I had a faulty pilot assembly. But because there was a small crack on the ignition button, AHS wouldn't cover it. This company told me the whole water heater was unsafe and needed to be replaced. The heater is only 3 years old and under warranty. They wanted to charge $2650 to replace it. I called Nothing But Water Heaters. Within 12 hours the pilot assembly was replaced and is working great! Only$430.

Advanced Home Services was sent out by Old Republic. I was told that my compressor was bad in a 3 year old unit. Since the unit was under manufacture warranty, they told me it would be $2900 for labor and refrigerant and that the compressor was 30-35 days out.I was also told that there were PVC lines in my attic that were strapped down wrong that also needed to be repaired. I called another for a second opinion. Turns out my compressor is just fine, that the damper was getting stuck because it was not plugged in and there is NOTHING wrong with any lines in my attic. The 2nd company that came out said that if it would have been the compressor that it would have been $1200 for labor and refrigerant and that the compressor was in stock at the supply house (suppy house had plenty of them). Advanced Home Services is just out there taking advantange of people!!

Biggest joke of a company. American Home Shield sent them to my house to inspect/repair my AC unit. When they arrive at my house, they simply look at the AC unit, take a reading on the gauges, and tell me I have a leak which is understandable. Where everything goes wrong, is they don't even bother to go up in the attic to at least do a visual inspection of my furnace. The technician tells me my leak is most likely a coil and they can fix it, but it's a "band-aid" and will eventually leak again. Then he proceeds to try and convince me on a 14k full AC replacement. Fast forward to the diagnostic report, and the MFer didn't even mention anything about the coils. He simply says the schrader valves are leaking and need replaced along with a refrigerant refill. So he lied on the report and completely wrote something different that would be an easy fix rather than what he verbally told me. To top everything off, I actually checked the schrader valves with some soapy water and they were absolutely not leaking. Do NOT let these scammers come to your house! You have been warned. Had I checked the reviews first, I would have immediately asked for a different company.

Great service and communication of my plumbing problem. Went the extra mile to make sure all my questions were answered and clean things up before they left. They are now my go to for all my plumbing needs. Thank you Advance Home Services.

They came out under AHS contract. They gave me my out of pocket expenses but told me that they would give $200.00 discount for 5 star review. The catch is I had to leave 5 star review before they even did the work. I told them that that wasn't right or kosher. I told them I would leave 5 star after they completed work they responded that they did not want to do job as I said told them that it was coercive.

Brand new water heater installed 13 months ago with this company. Called in because hot water is running out within 5 minutes again. They advised me since it’s been over a year to contact the manufacturer directly. Horrible customer service and terrible disregard to local home owners.

My upstairs toilet had a minor leak, and American Home Shield dispatched this company to diagnose the issue. From the very beginning, the experience was extremely concerning. The plumber, Alex, refused to even remove the toilet to inspect it. Instead, he immediately insisted that I would need to rip up my entire bathroom floor and open the ceiling below before he could diagnose anything. He had not performed even the most basic plumbing step -- lifting the toilet to check the wax ring or flange. He then instructed me to contact a separate restoration company to open the floor and address supposed water damage. We followed that advice. The restoration company came out, thoroughly inspected the area, and confirmed that nothing was wet, there was no active leak, and there was no hidden pipe issue. They explicitly stated that there was no reason to open the floor or ceiling and that the issue was most likely a wax ring or flange problem -- something that requires removing the toilet to confirm. I rescheduled with this plumbing company, and the job was assigned to Alex again. Before the appointment, he called to confirm that I had already opened the floor and ceiling. When I explained what the restoration company found and reiterated that the toilet had still never been removed for inspection, he again refused to proceed unless I signed a waiver allowing them to tear up my flooring -- without ever performing a basic diagnostic step. At no point did he remove the toilet. Refusing to perform standard diagnostic procedure while insisting on unnecessary demolition is unacceptable. This felt like an attempt to turn a simple repair into a much larger and more expensive project. If you are assigned this contractor through American Home Shield, I strongly recommend requesting a different company immediately. If you are considering hiring them directly, I would proceed with extreme caution. Homeowners deserve honest diagnostics -- not pressure to authorize unnecessary demolition before basic plumbing steps are taken.

Advance Home Services was dispatched through American Home Shield for a shower drain blockage. The technician did not run a camera or perform proper diagnostics. Instead, I was given only a phone estimate stating that the first-floor ceiling must be opened and piping replaced, with a quote of $2,100 for plumbing alone, plus additional costs to repair and paint the ceiling. I later obtained a second opinion and was told the pipe replacement and ceiling opening were unnecessary and the blockage could be resolved without demolition for a total of $300. I also noticed several one-star reviews describing similar experiences, which is very concerning. This felt misleading and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company.

I was very happy and pleased. My water heater busted on a Sunday. AHS had to sign them and I called them that morning to get it scheduled because I needed my water heater replaced. They had someone come out that afternoon and on Tuesday it was replaced. So.im thankful for their fast efficiency.

My water heater went out of course on the Friday of a holiday weekend. We contacted our home warranty company. I was surprised and amazed but Advance Home services called and sent a tech that same day. He came accessed the water heater was professional, nice explained the issues. They contacted the warranty company and to my amazement my new replacement was installed the day after the holiday. The technicians were wonderful, professional, clean efficient. My new water heater looks and works great now. Thank you for the quick response. I would use you again anytime.
