• I can’t speak to the quality of their actual work because I never had the opportunity to have the job completed. However, I can say that I was very disappointed with their scheduling and communication. I initially called and was told someone would arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. When no one showed up, I contacted the company around 5:00 p.m. and was told that the technician’s previous job was running long and they would not be able to make it that day. The following morning, I spoke with Nicole and was able to get back on the schedule for Thursday between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. At 3:00 p.m. today, I received a text informing me that they would not be coming today either. I am honestly baffled by the company’s high rating given this level of scheduling and communication. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but canceling twice—particularly after confirming the second appointment—was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

• Exceptional Service You Can Count on for Decades We had AirPlus install our heating and AC system in 2008 during one of San Diego's hottest summers, right after our son was born. The installation came with a 10-year warranty, and remarkably, we had virtually no issues for the next 15 years. When a condenser-related issue came up in 2024, they responded quickly. This summer, when our AC wouldn't power on, Nicole was outstanding—she patiently helped troubleshoot the problem over the phone and scheduled our annual service for the very next day. Andrew arrived exactly on time, performed a thorough maintenance service, replaced the filters, lubricated the system, and carefully diagnosed the real issue: a concealed wire that had been chewed by rats. He replaced the damaged wire at no charge, also discovered a failing capacitor, made a temporary repair to get us going, and returned the following week—right on schedule—to install the new capacitor. He left everything spotless. It's rare to find a company that stands behind its work for nearly two decades with the same professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine pride in customer satisfaction.
