• Arthur is great. I called him because the place that installed our AC was taking too long to get back to me. He showed up same-day and had the issue diagnosed in just a few minutes. Unfortunately the part in question is still under warranty with the other company, so we have to wait for them to do the work, but Arthur didn’t even charge me for the diagnosis, which the other guys wanted $129 for. I will definitely be dealing with Arthur going forward and would suggest him to anyone that needs good, fast, honest work. 2026 update: my HVAC condensate drain line was clogged and he talked me through fixing it on my own rather than charging me to come fix it. • The Google Review, Yelp and Reddit were all promising - the reality is even better. We had intermittent troubles with our furnace and initially made the mistake of asking One particular different company for a diagnosis and were left with a: "could have done this myself“ reading of the LED error code and a superficial check, getting tagged on two code violations and a repair forecast of $2000 and taking $99+tax for the diagnosis before an unmotivated sales guy bumped in for 30 seconds upsell to give us a quote for replacing furnace and AC due to their age. Unhappy with the service I called Arthur for a second diagnosis and I swear from that moment magic started to happen. He started by suggesting troubleshooting steps via email free of charge and went on to sent a technician over less than an hour after I emailed back that it those steps had not fixed the problem. Arthur‘s technician performed the thorough diagnosis I had hoped for, repeatedly checking the furnace functions before telling me that Arthur would give me a call himself and leaving, not even accepting to be paid for the diagnosis. Arthur went over the potential repair options with me and outlined that we could start by replacing the suspected error part and would have to proceed to another part if this turned out to be necessary. He explained in great detail what the next steps could be and also suggested replacing just the furnace. When I asked whether he would do the AC at the same time because it was as old as the furnace he did not try to upsell me and instead suggested it would not be necessary and repairing or replacing the AC would be no big deal if it became necessary at later time. And - more to the point of magic - since his technician left, the furnace has been reliably running suggesting that the issue might have been something that could have been fixed by cleaning the system. If you are fed up with upsells and unnecessary repair and replacement suggestions and want someone who evidently cares about the customer first, I would recommend Arthur a million times over. This was a 5 star triple wow experience.
