Anthony was very pleasant, showed up on time, with all the necessary parts, and installed a new Pressure Relief Valve professionally to replace a failed one. Everything was pristine when he left. • Artisan was great when they came out to fix some issues we were having. Their plumber Sandro was really thorough, worked through all the possible causes, & was able to pinpoint the issue & we were able to get it fixed. When we had another issue, unrelated, they were our first call. They got another plumber out to us as soon as they could. Anthony was just as great as Sandro; both guys were professional, personable & knowledgeable, they explained exactly what they were checking & what issues they found. • Unreliable. Had a window for an appointment. They called DURING the window that the plumber was supposed to come and said they will charge over time. Keep in mind this is 3 PM on a Friday. If you were fully booked why take the appointment in the morning? Trying to rip off people! Stay away from this plumbing company.

• I used Artisan Plumbing twice, both time they did a good job, and the reason my review is 3 stars is the pricing. It's from the last decade. They charge you for 2 hrs minimum, regardless what the job is (both times my job took them 20 mins tops), they charge you for travel time (who does this anymore!), and then on top of all this they charge you for the "materials" - every little scrap of anything the plumber uses, including rubber gloves he is wearing. I won't be hiring them anymore. Only stratas can afford this pricing.

• ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointed with Artisan Plumbing & Heating Ltd. The plumber and supervisor were rude and dismissive when questioned, and the service focused on unnecessary work that appeared aimed at overcharging rather than properly fixing the issue. Their staff was working in the upstairs bathroom to fix a water dripping issue, but instead of resolving it, their unprofessional handling caused flooding in my unit three separate times. I have attached a video that clearly shows the amount of water flooding into my unit, which anyone can see. I would not recommend this company.

• This company has the contract at the strata building where I live. In my opinion they are crooks. They have twice misled me about cost estimates and subsequently price gouge. $730 for 45 minutes of work switching out supply lines! If you have a choice, call someone else. I can’t imagine they are all this opportunistic. Individuals working for this company have been nice enough.

• Just a wonderful and reliable family company. Mr. Desmond came to my suite as there was a water leak in my jacuzzi running into my dining room, behind the walls. Desmond found the fault pretty well immediately and never stopped running back and forth between the jacuzzi area and the dining room checking to see if the water had stopped flowing through the walls, which it then had. Just an amazing plumber with about 35 years of experience whom I highly recommend. He is coming here today again to fix a stoppage in my guest bathroom sink which is way beyond the t-trap…. • 15+ years ago I used to use Artisan at a rental condo and received good service. I do not know what has changed, but my recent attempt to use them landed me with a bill over $300 and no repair to the rental condo shower after three months. First they couldn't find the part. Then they found a very expense source (about $500) for which I had to give permission. Ultimately they did not charge me for the part because it was the wrong part. But they charged me for the time they spent not finding the right part, and to boot, communication was absolutely terrible. Once a month my tenant would ask, "Hey can we get this repaired," to my surprise -- why is my tenant informing me of the lack of progress rather than Artisan? I called another plumber and he found the part and replaced it within a week. I do not understand why the Artisan plumber failed to find the part, why Artisan failed to communicate with me, why they simply dropped the ball until I pestered them every four weeks, and why they charged me for their time when their time was spent not finding the right part. Why am I paying for them not to do their job reliably?

• Artisan is our go-to plumbing company at my strata. We've called them in for burst pipes in the buildings and under the front street, and have been happy with the service. These were big jobs, so naturally the bill was big, but it seemed reasonable. Recently I had Artisan in for some simple domestic plumbing and was very pleased with the service. The technician was pleasant, fast, and competent (everything is fine one month later). I bought my own fixtures (at Artisan's suggestion), and even with a van fee and some miscellaneous parts (which probably cost more than off the shelf at Home Depot) I was surprised that the bill was lower than expected. Very happy with the service.

• I am still bewildered that an appointment i booked and paid a deposit to secure several days ago with Artisan Plumbing was cancelled without any notification because there apparently was “no cc on file”. Zero contact, literally a day of waiting for a technician to arrive that did not, AND evidence that my deposit was taken several days ago (I called in and spoke with a person that took my cc information + processed the deposit for me). I had to call to organize the return of my deposit. The receptionist could not tell me how this might have happened. To be honest, I’m still in shock.
