• Great company, great technician. Had a humming noise from furnace. Sent Santiago same day and as Murphy’s law has it did not hum however Santiago checked everything and told me what to look for if it happened again and that the company would send out a technician again no extra cost. It then happened again that same night and I recorded it and took pictures of the AC like Santiago asked. Santiago came back next day and ran tests on the AC and diagnosed the issue with the AC losing refrigerant. He took time to explain the tests and what numbers we would be looking for. He also answered all my questions. The bad news I need a new AC and am looking at their quotes and whether the pricing is reasonable enough to proceed.

• Wow! Called Ashton Hearing & Cooling this morning and someone was at my door by the late afternoon in the middle of a Summer heat wave non the less. They opened up my 20+ year old ac unit that has been struggling to keep up with the heat of late and within a few min. The issue was figured out and a new part was put in! Now that’s top notch service and quick and the price was very reasonable. • Very professional from the beginning. My wife called because our A/C unit is old and was beginning to fail. The tech came over and told us the repair cost but with the age, it might be a temporary fix so my wife opted for a new unit to be installed. Even with a heat wave they offered a portable unit to get us by until our install date. We didn’t need it but wonderful customer service. The day of the new unit was great. They laid a foam runner down from the front door to the basement and went to work. Communication throughout and letting me know when it was going to be done. Showed me the finished product and their workmanship. Explaining the new unit and features. It was an incredible experience and highly recommend using Ashton for any of your needs.

• I paid $152 to Ashton Heating for a technician visit that lasted less than 10 minutes. The technician told me absolutely nothing could be done to temporarily keep my home cool during a peak heatwave. To make matters worse, there was zero follow-up from their office. I had to call them back 3 to 4 times during the day just to get an update, only to be repeatedly told to "be more patient." When I called up them up the last time around noon, I was informed that we do not know when we would be able to provide you the repair or new installation quotes, it all depends on when the technician (who looked at your unit) returns back to office after attending other services calls and that the repair quotes could arrive by the end of the day or even the following day.. Frustrated by the lack of care, I hired another company. Their technician came out immediately, temporarily added refrigerant to keep us cool, and successfully replaced our system a week later. I ended up paying Ashton $152 for absolutely nothing. Their prices are extremely high, their diagnostic was not up to the mark (as the other company proved), and they clearly do not care about their clients once they collect their dispatch fee. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere
