  • If possible, they are 0 star! On Friday, April 24th, 2026, they didn't keep their promise and put the key back in place, but also took away our company's key without reason or justification, which affected our company's economic income and it also caused us to lose our credit! This is an irresponsible company! Very untrustworthy!!!

  • Man this company ain't it. They service our strata and not sure why our worse strata company contracts them - the have allegedly come to fix our boiler 3 times or more in the past year. Still, I sit here today evening with no hot water to approximately 150 units. That's approximately 300 or so people with no hot water cause this company can't seem to do their job properly. Avoid and go with a smaller company who actually value your money more. Also, they are expensive too so please shop around.

  • There are too many of these companies hiring poor quality people who cannot fix the building issues. And Ashton mechanical is one of the worst. I am strata Council and manage a condo. Ashton did a terrible job and over charged us. Do NOT hire them

  • We have been working with Ashton Mechanical for the last few years. Their service quality and attentiveness to their customers is fantastic. Ashton provides commercial and residential HVAC and Plumbing. BWS Solutions provides water treatment chemicals and services for HVAC systems. Highly recommend their services!

  • I had a kitchen leak and Ashton came to replace the pipe. The ENTIRE team from the office staff to the techs, were incredibly helpful and supportive. Hark was especially helpful with a wonderful sense of humour and quality work. 👍👍

  • Having pre-arranged a Dec 19th 8:00a / noon scheduled service call to deal with a malfunctioning recirculation pump. We requested to be the first call of the day, if possible. At 11:30a I contacted Ashton to confirm that we were still scheduled and was informed that the technician had been delayed by complications at his first service call but was wrapping up and would be on his way directly. His arrival time would be provided by text message / telephone call. Receiving no text message or call, at 1:30p I contacted Ashton once again and was informed that the technician was still at the first service call but would arrive at our home by approximately 3:30p. At 4:30p the technician arrived and informed me that he was here to service our hot water tank; he was not aware of, or prepared for, the recirc pump issue. To his credit, the technician diagnosed the pump issue as a malfunctioning external temperature sensor and provided two alternative solutions (leave the pump running at 100% or replace the entire pump / sensor unit). A circulation pump replacement proposal statement was provided and we shall decide which course to pursue. As a longtime customer and Ashton Protection Program Member, we are extremely disappointed in the lack of communication evidenced today and trust that it will not be repeated. • I have owned a home in Vancouver for 30 years, and in that time have dealt with several companies selling me hot water tanks, furnaces and heat pumps. This year I had to replace all three - a gas furnace, heat pump/AC and installed a tankless hot water system - yikes! I have never had such a knowledgeable, thorough and professional installation!! They looked at the house and entire system as just that - a system. Balanced things and made sure I had good quality both in the equipment and in the installation. I felt very well looked after and confident in the company I was working with. They also fixed a lot of dumb things done or simply ignored by previous companies. Special shout out to Mo Meherzad the advisor who put it all together, Karen who helped with any problem solving along the way, and to the installers Ahbi and Dominic. All were pleasant and so professional. Thank you team Ashton!!!

  • Thanks to Mark, Saheed and Bin for installing our Heat Pump. Ours was a difficult one as we had to deal with a lot of Strata and provincial bureaucracy.

  • do NOT use Ashton to install a heat pump! After 2 1/2 years the refrigerant starting leaking away, so we couldn't heat the house properly in February. A temporary fix of topping up the refrigerant got us through the winter, but when the weather warmed up the cooling function stopped working after a couple of weeks. The fix (by another company), which took two tries, was to redo the connections of the refrigerant line which were done improperly. There is supposed to be single copper pipe running between the inside and outside units, but Ashton put in connecting valves at several places, and the fluid leaked out at those places. We also had some issues referred to in other reviews where Ashton tried to sell us extra stuff that was not required. They also did not complete the invoice and paperwork properly, which created some delays in getting our rebate approved.

  • Had HVAC installation done by Ashton Services Group. Five star service every step from beginning to completion. Everyone I dealt with was informative, helpful, courteous, and professional. Kudos to Mo Meherzad, Karan Sandhu and the full team that did the installation. Thank you

  • Ashton Mechanical destroyed material in our space worth $30,000 with their incompetence and refuses to take responsibility or apologize. I recommend you do not use their services. Ashton Mechanical was contracted to fix a small leak from our roof drainage, which goes down from the roof and across the inside of our unit. The drainage pipe was clogged and a large pool of water was on the roof. They could not snake the pipe, since rocks were in it. They needed to remove the rocks, so they entered our unit and *loosened the joint* below the roof so they could get at the rocks. Predictably to anyone with a modicum of sense, the water from the pool drained into our finished unit. There was no plan for what to do with this flowing water, besides destroy our equipment with it. Ashton Mechanical refused to admit fault and refused to pay for damages. Here is the video demonstrating how incompetent and destructive Ashton Plumbing, Heating & Air is. They are not good people. I hope you learn from our experience and never use their services.

  • They do their job well but they charge you more than your expectation! They charge $164/h while the cost for a handyman is around $100/h and a physician income is about 150/h! They even charge $164/h for their observer technicians! Not Fair at all!

  • Vic and Keivaan are very professional and fixed the required parts

    Mark H.

  • We are very impressed by the work Johnny did in our home today. He was very organized, experienced and efficient and it was obvious that he takes great pride in his work. He explained what he would be doing and when he had completed the tasks he showed us exactly what he had done. Thank you again Johnny.

  • We had tech Danny out to do some work the other day, he came out to check on a previous tech’s work. Danny was very caring and wanted to ensure all work was satisfactory. He took the extra steps to make sure we were satisfied. With Thanks. Doug Paterson

  • very expensive service, they are going to charge the highest value of service. I had a leak in our unit and they came to visit which called from our strata ( Rancho Managment ) it took only less than 15 min to inspect and charged for 5 hours of work ( Journeyman Labour) , charged 800 $ Poor quality of work, please avoid them!!

  • This company is fantastic! They donate to a charity that I hold near and dear to my heart and do wonderful work. I really love chatting with their employees and you can tell they are well taken care of. Not enough businesses like this these days...

  • This company has regard for only 1 thing: getting the sale and billing to the mamimum. The after service is beplorable. I had service done on a plugged drain by "Danny" on Nov 24. Did good work, I was told at onset the call out for the first hour is $300 (wow). While he was there said I likley needed a sink strainer. These are inexpensive and took him 5 minutes. Also said I should likely put down some Drain Opener to address roots and took a photo so I could do it in the future. At no time was a price quoted for these 2 services. Imagine my surprise and hour later when I was presented with $762.93 bill! When I asked the "Danny" if he could describe the bill, he stated "I only punch the buttons, I dont make up the prices" and if I had a question to "call the office." I have done that multiple times and had one call back stating "I see the problem, let me look into it and get back to you" that occured on the 24th. Since then, my inquiry calls are "in a meeting" and "we will call you back" and dont. Given I have had such a poor service experience, I even called the president on the Nov 30 , who refused to take my call ( he would have if I was his seat appolsterer) and had his receptionist deal with my compliant stating it would get addressed. No action to date. When I looked up the price of that same drain opener they charged me 121.00 for, I can get buy for 52.00 from Amazon, Emco etc. Almost 2.5X more, but the plumber did open it and put into the toilet.... My advice: Stay away unless you are clearly quoted ahead of time. And dont expect any service once they charge you. I willl not be recommending this company to anyone I talk too.

  • Ashton is not the cheapest company around but you pay for the quality. They tried hard to find out the issue of our water pressure and lukewarm water. Was not a quick or simple fix but we have hot water now.
