• Thank you Basset for always being there! For all of my HVAC needs I’ve reached out to Basset. This time being more time sensitive than before when my AC stopped working. • The services themselves have been adequate, though they recommended upgrading something something (and a second recommendation on the same item said differently). Do not do their membership. They are not coordinated. I called to cancel a service twice and they still came out, then called again saying they came. I am not saying I won’t use them in an emergency, as the technicians themselves have been okay. I currently do not trust their recommendations though and their scheduling team needs work.

• I had my AC and furnace replaced by this company for about $17,300, about one year ago. I had cheaper quotes, but decided to pay more and go with a local company because I expected better service and support if any issues came up. I live in a split-level home, and from the beginning I was very clear that one of my main concerns was getting adequate airflow and cooling upstairs. Since I already needed to replace the furnace and wanted to add whole-house AC, I specifically wanted the entire system addressed at the same time rather than having to add more equipment later. The system was installed during the winter, and the heating seemed fine. Once summer arrived, however, the problem became obvious. I basically have to choose between making the lower level uncomfortably cold or having the upper level too warm. I routinely see an 8–9°F temperature difference between the two levels. I contacted them about the issue, hoping they would address the airflow or system design. Their proposed solution was for me to spend approximately another $9,000 on a mini-split for the main bedroom. That was very disappointing given that I had already spent over $17,000 with the expectation of having effective AC throughout the house. Another frustration has been the amount of upselling during scheduled maintenance visits. There always seems to be another product or upgrade being recommended—whole-house humidifier, sanitization system, mini-split, etc. It has made the service experience feel more focused on selling additional equipment than addressing the original concern. The equipment works, and I haven't had a major mechanical failure, which is why I wouldn't give the company the lowest possible rating. But considering the price I paid, the unresolved temperature imbalance, and the proposed $9,000 solution to a concern I raised from the beginning, I expected considerably better. In hindsight, I feel I may have been better off going with one of the less expensive options, including the contractor recommended through Lowe's Pro.

• I recently had some winter maintenance completed on my furnace, and Ilan came over to help me out. He was incredibly professional and completed the job in a timely manner. While he was here, I inquired about adding AC to my Carrier furnace, and Ilan was more than helpful in pointing me in the right direction. I then followed up with Wayne to discuss the AC project. He provided me with a fair quote to get things rolling, and we got everything scheduled right away. On the day of the installation, Jordan and Eliot (the HVAC Technicians), Donnie (the Electrician), and an apprentice came over. They got right to work and wrapped up the entire project by that afternoon! Everyone I spoke with at Basset Home Service—whether on the phone in the office or in my home—was polite, professional, and eager to help our family out. If I have another repair or project in mind, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for their assistance. Highly recommended!

Tim was awesome on our 2026 plumbing inspection and he check everywhere and we discussed our next step to changing out a few things. And then I had Lorenzo and Chris in for our furnace repair before we get in a super cold snap where we have to actually turn on our furnace. They knocked it out. We have Bassett takes care of our rental in Pueblo as well. You can't go wrong with Bassett in your corner. Let's go team! • Update after 3 years: about once a year, I will get a message from somebody claiming to be an owner or a GM or some other high ranking manager asking me if they can come to my house and make it right so I’ll remove this review. The first person reached out and attempted to schedule it with me then ghosted me. I called and requested an estimate for a heat pump system. I ended up with 2 heat pump estimates, a breaker box estimate, and an estimate for a new furnace. It was not explained well why the furnace was also included and if it needed replaced or if that was a courtesy estimate "since they were here". I dinged them 3 stars because they used my email address when signing up for estimates to send me approximately 10 marketing (spam) emails since their visit without my consent AND the tech that came out to my house broke my thermostat battery cover in front of me and 1, made me ask him if he was going to do anything about it and 2, instead of replacing it, he excused it away as "we'll replace it when you have your furnace replaced with us". I am now hesitant to use them if this was the service I had before I paid them any money.

• Very personable person came out to repair my dripping bath tub. He was very knowledgeable and immediately knew what the problem was and wrote up some price quotes for me to consider. I have 2 complete bathrooms so he gave me a quote just to fix one tub, a second quote to fix both tubs and a quote if I invested in maintenance plsn on a monthly basis than cost again for singular versus repairing both tubs. I opted to fix both tubs with the maintenance plan. It saved me $60 and I believe it saved me from having plumber coming back within a year to fix the second tub. There wasn't time to do the repairs the first day since I needed someone to come out after I got off work at 230 pm but he was able to work me in the next day for the repairs. While nobody is happy with having to spend money on maintenance, it needed to be done. Hoping my water bill goes down. No more dripping water and my shower knob is so much easier to turn now. So I like to give out a big shout out to my plumber.

• We are so pleased with the electrical services provided. We scheduled Basset to come out and conduct an electrical inspection to ensure there were no issues with our home. Donnie was very thorough and advised us that the Electricals were safe and there were no issues. We also did not have any ceiling lights in our living room. Donnie advised that the area could be wired for a ceiling fan/light. Donnie did an outstanding job wiring our living room for a ceiling fan/light fixture, expertly put the ceiling fan/light together and then installed the fixture.
