I highly recommend BlueStar for their attic and basement insulation through NYSERDA. Chris is very knowledgeable about the program, did a very thorough inspection of my attic and basement (including photos) and then provided a detailed explanation of services needed with an estimate, including financing options. On the day of installation, Rob and his crew did an excellent job and were very efficient, polite and respectful of my property. Throughout this entire process, the main office contacted me through texts and phone calls as to arrival times and expected length of visits. Chris followed up on the day of the installation to inspect and ensure I was satisfied with the insulation job. I would rate this service as above and beyond what I expected and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

There aren't enough words to adequately express how wonderful it's been working with a company like Blue Star. I have never trusted a company more while working on this big of a home project. From my very first appointment, to the final walkthrough, everything was handled with respect, care, consideration, timeliness and complete consideration for solutions that made sense to my home and needs. I now have a full mini-split system that heats and cools and allows me to utilize all parts of my home comfortably. Not only was their customer service and installation process exceptional, but they went above and beyond to find rebates and financial solutions that helped fit my budget. I couldn't recommend Blue Star more. Special thanks to Molly, Dylan, John, Christian and all the crew who helped with this project!

Both inspection/quote and attic & basement insulation appointments were on time and were very informative of the process and procedure. Pictures were provided before, during and after and explained thoroughly. My attic was definitely lacking sufficient insulation and basement had a few problem areas. Everyone was polite, the process was not overly invasive to the living area and the workers did a great job in cleaning up afterwards. Now just hoping that this solves my ice dam roof problems. 🤞. The NYS energy rebate program made this (hopeful) permanent fix affordable.
