⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pete from Buffalo Energy came out to do an energy assessment on our home, and he was fantastic. Our house is over 125 years old, which comes with plenty of quirks, and Pete clearly knew how to handle them. He was extremely knowledgeable, explained what he was finding in plain terms, and gave us a clear picture of where the house is losing energy and what to do about it. Professional, thorough, and easy to work with. Highly recommend Buffalo Energy.

Unprofessional and rude front desk reception! Rep came ro my house and refused to do the Home Energy Audit saying that my home was newer and their was nothing they can do when that was not true, he never attempted to do the audit. He abruptly for up and left after I questioned WHY he would not perform the audit and what I was looking for. This same company provided what I was asking for but they LIED and said they dont offer the service. I would never deal with these rude people ever again

I started with Buffalo Energy in 2021 by having them install my furnace and central air conditioner in my mobile home along with putting foam insulation under my home. I had them work on my furnace today. Nick did a fantastic job replacing the heat exchanger in the furnace. He began by finding out that Co2 was leaking into my home. This in itself was very alarming as the number was very high. Nick did a thorough job conducting himself in a professional manner. At the close of the job he put a new Co2 detector in the home. I called for an energy assessment through NYSERDA and the individual who called me back was less than pleasant. The same could be said for who they sent for the assessment. Nevertheless, it has been over two weeks without an estimate, even though I have attempted to contact Buffalo Energy. Good luck with this outfit since they’ve changed ownership. Not a rant but I believe feedback is important. Two stars because someone actually showed up for the appointment, it would have been one otherwise

After a positive experience having my home insulated which left pretty much no clean up, a piece of siding on the second story peak blew off during the last heavy wind and snow. I have had to find someone to go up and replace siding before. Good luck finding someone. I put the piece aside. Wasn’t the first time that piece had blown off since the piece included rusty nails. The other day, they were working across the street. I went over to return a caulk gun they had left behind and mentioned the siding. He wanted to see. He was willing to go up there and look and took the siding up as well. He was going to nail it back up but a piece was still missing. He took a picture and said they have extra siding to replace mine. Remembering I may have a box of remaining siding in my garage from a previous job, he climbed up in the garage, grabbed it, cut it and replaced it. Talk about going above and beyond and being one happy customer!! He (they) didn’t have to do any of that!! I am so appreciative and thankful!! I don’t think they realize how much they made my day!! Thank you!!

Had another comp that works for my landlord. Furnace kept going out and couldn't fix it. Then I remembered Buffalo energy put in our furnace and air cond so I called them. The tech Nick was awesome! He found gas leak that the last comp replaced pipes and they were not put on right. Buffalo Energy came quick and discovered the leak and fixed it. Its been a couple cold days but once Buffalo energy got involved we finally have heat and no gas leaks! The boss even called to do a follow up to make sure all was good!! Highly recommend Buffalo Energy! Thanks for responding so quick and being so professional! If you need some one for heating or cooling issues, give them a call. Thanks guys! 5 star service!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Buffalo Energy themselves recommended they vent out the attic a bathroom exhaust fan, only to cause a leak from the roof. Accidents happen not a big deal but once I contacted Buffalo Energy, Mike W could not of been more dismissive or rude, going to the extent of lying to me telling me it wasn’t their work that was leaking. So I sent them pictures of not only their work leaking but also their exhaust connection didn’t even stay connected to which he finally after months of calls finally sent out two people who claimed they sealed and fixed it, of course come to find out it’s still leaking months later and Mike W again ignored my attempts to contact him. Would NEVER go with this company based on their customer service from their manager and if they do ANY altering to your house, be prepared to check their work constantly any rain because they do not stand by the quality of their work or reputation and flat out ignore their customers. 4/23/25 Update: After posting this review, Sales Director Michael P. reached out to me, professional, apologetic, and genuinely willing to go above and beyond to make things right. He clearly took the time to review our case, came out personally to inspect the issue, acknowledged the original mistakes, and took additional measures to make sure everything was done correctly. He even personally repaired and repainted the ceiling for us. Visibly, it looks much better. Leaks like this take time to truly prove they're fixed but so far so good even after a few heavy rainfalls. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Michael P.'s effort. He took ownership and followed through. After a frustrating earlier experience, having someone step up and do the right thing matters.

I got a navien combi unit installed 3 years ago. Lately it’s been having problem after problem and buffalo energy has always responded to my heating needs and were there to trouble shoot it every single time. I recommend Buffalo Energy without a doubt. The guys that did my circuit breakers were so nice and the other ones that just did my hot water tank were great too.
