The technicians are outstanding but the administration side of the business is my issue. I made a request for maintenance on tankless water heater and radiant floor heating system. The person taking the request misunderstood my request. The next morning I received a call about my request. Did I need a service call on my HVAC system? I explained again that I needed a service call on the tankless water heater and radiant heating system. I was told that a technician that had been involved with the installation of these systems would arrive. The technician that came was familiar with the tankless heater but was not told about the radiant heating system! I have not heard back on any schedule for the radiant heating systems! I have been a customer for many years and have always had great experience but it has gone downhill!

Dear Buckner’s Team, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I consistently receive from Steaven B. at Buckner’s Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing. Before contacting Buckner’s, I had received several service calls from another well-known plumbing company regarding a recurring Rinnai tankless water heater error code 22, which can indicate ignition failure, flame-sensing problems, or a possible gas valve or reed switch issue, for my family it meant “NO HOT WATER”. Despite being told repeatedly that everything was functioning properly, the error continued, and I had to reset the unit again and again. Feeling frustrated, I decided to find another service provider, and Buckner’s 4.9-star rating with more than 1,500 Google reviews encouraged me to reach out. The customer service was excellent from the start, including the opportunity to speak with a tankless water heater specialist. During my first phone conversation with Steaven, I described the ongoing error code, and Steaven immediately suspected corrosion buildup on the flame rod. Although I was initially skeptical, his expertise became clear during his service call. YES, I am one of those homeowners who watch to learn about my systems when service is being performed. Steaven performed a thorough visual assessment, explained the issue clearly, and presented thoughtful options: cleaning the flame rod so I could continue using the unit or cleaning it and ordering a replacement part for installation once it became available for a more permanent solution. Steaven explained that he had completed advanced tankless water heater training at Rinnai and has extensive experience servicing tankless issues. This gave me complete confidence in his recommendations. After Steaven cleaned the flame rod, the error code disappeared and the unit operated smoothly. When the replacement part arrived, Buckner’s promptly scheduled a follow-up appointment and Steaven installed it, completed a function check ensuring the system was set up for long-term reliability. Since then, my tankless water heater has worked perfectly without a single issue, and Steaven has become my go-to contact for anything related to mu Rinnai. For additional peace of mind, I also enrolled in Buckner’s maintenance plan, which includes an annual tankless flush, heating and cooling service, and other valuable perks. Thank you, Steaven, for your dedication, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service. Your professionalism and technical expertise made a frustrating situation remarkably easy to resolve. Sincerely, Charles

Got a new furnace back in January and the thermostat has never worked properly. We have had them out 3-4 times to fix it and all they did was keep replacing a new thermostat with another one….a Honeywell. We’ve been fighting this issue since then and have given up with them trying to fix it. I have ended up getting a new Ecobee and installed it myself. It’s working beautifully. I would like to bill Buckners for the new thermostat and my time since their employees couldn’t do it… Thousands of dollars spent with them!!! I have found out that Buckners is no longer a locally owned company. They were purchased by a large company out of Michigan and they are owned by a private equity firm.

This is an amazing company! From meeting and pricing with Steve to the day of Installation ( 110 degree day) Ian,Caleb K and one other gentelman sorry about name- goatee who brought the extra parts, went above and beyond, discovered a vent issue that could cause a carbon monoxide issue and didnt leave until 6pm and it was fixed. The next day, their supervisor Troy came out and made some more adjustments and made measurements to make sure all was good! Overall amazing experience!!!!

Bad communication.. got an inspection done on the house we are selling which identified a leak in the bathroom. Our agent called and Buckner advised they will come out and give a free estimate to repair the leak. So we scheduled a day and they came out. A couple weeks later we got an invoice for $299 for plumbing/drain service. I called and the female who answered (just reading the invoice notes) advised it was $109 for a trip fee to even come out and then it’s $190 an hour and they did a main line inspection. They gave an estimate of over $7,000 to clean the lines, which is not what we asked for. Just know they charge you $109 to even come out to the house and then $190 to complete a service we didn’t ask for - at least in our situation.

Great experience! Our AC went out and they came the next day. They presented all of our options with NO pressure. When we arrived home after installation the work area was cleaner than when they arrived! I was super impressed!

With the recent heat wave, my A/C unit was not keeping up. so I called Buckner's to make sure it was working properly. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a SAME DAY appointment! Braden K. serviced my unit and he was knowledgeable, professional, and answered all my questions with patience. I would definitely recommend Buckner's and Branden K for any HVAC issues!

Edwin came out today and provided excellent service. My AC is blowing cold, I had to turn it up a bit tonight even. I bought my new smart electric water heater from them as well, it was exactly what I was looking for. I had a great experience both times, but let's not make this a habit. Well done. Fyi, I'm on their twice a year service package now so getting my furnace and AC checked without having to think to call is nice.

Decided to give Buckner's a go for my water heater's routine servicing/anode rod replacement based on online feedback. From the staff's communication to technician Gideon's professionalism, I had a very positive experience. I was able to text, call or email any time and get a reply within minutes. I also received a courtesy 30-minute heads up when the technician was on his way, which proved accurate on both occasions. Gideon was friendly, wore covers on his shoes any time he entered the house and even showed me the anode rod they were removing to confirm/reinforce my decision to replace it. All that, and the cost was on par with the price I paid a competitor two years ago. I will be using Buckner's for future needs.

We had a great experience with Buckner's last year - so we signed up for their yearly service contract. We had our first service yesterday, and my previously working zoning is now non-functional. Prior to the visit, my house maintained 72 on both floors. Now the upstairs is pegged constantly running all day at sitting at 75. The zoning board previously would switch between zones, but now both are open. To get someone to come double check the work that their maintenance tech did, they wanted $99 to diagnose the issue and resolve whatever they had done. Moving on, Private Equity strikes again.
