Kyle Came after hours on an emergency. He was very kind worked quickly found the problem which turned out to be covered under our warranty. They admitted it was their fault, took responsibility and made it right. I appreciate their honesty. I will continue to use them. Kyle was great.

Frankly baffled by my experience with Dick Ray. The estimators (Kyle/Mike) were great to work with but the estimates lacked any kind of breakdown (not even parts and labor). We proceeded with one of the estimates to put in a new service line because the price was reasonable (especially relative to the other estimate we received). The tech who worked the job (Matt) did sloppy work and provided very poor communication during the process. They hit a clearly marked gas line (not a big deal, it happens) so the entire first workday was a wash. The second day was a Friday and the team only worked for a couple hours before leaving for a different job (not ideal but fine). This same day, the guy who originally estimated the service line (Mike) came out to do some positive PR, acknowledging that the job wasn't going great and offering a gift card to a dinner spot of our choice. (Two weeks and that hasn't been delivered so I'm assuming that was an empty promise.) The huge hole in our front yard was open all weekend until they could return on Monday. The tech approached me in the late afternoon to say the work was completed and then left immediately. No chance to ask questions, no walkthrough of the work completed. The new valve they'd installed inside was leaking when I went down to check so we had to call and have someone come out Tuesday to rectify that. Icing on the cake, the guy running the excavator left the dirt in our front yard about 4.5inches above it's starting height. After paying a neighbor to come haul away a truckload of dirt, it still took hours of manual work to compact it down. There was also a lot of mopping to do since the team got concrete residue everywhere during their work in the basement. I tried to be reasonable throughout the process, understanding that the gas line incident probably meant that this job wasn't even profitable for them, but the poor communication and messiness left a sour taste. At least it's done and we paid exactly what they quoted.
