Once again, Steve and Cave Creek Cooling came through for my daughter! Steve showed up on time, was extremely professional, quickly figured out what needed to be done, and took care of the problem. This isn’t the first time we’ve called them, and once again they delivered exactly the kind of service you hope for—reliable, honest, efficient, and fairly priced. I’ve got to say it: these guys are just bad ass. When your A/C goes down in the Phoenix heat, you want somebody you know you can count on. Steve and Cave Creek Cooling have earned our trust. The repair itself was done correctly, but our overall experience was disappointing when it came to customer service and pricing. We originally had the company come out to repair a clogged condensate drain line. Just seven days later, our A/C stopped working again and we were told that the capacitor had failed. We understand that these can be separate issues, and we weren’t necessarily expecting the company to cover the second repair. However, we were disappointed that we were charged another $95 diagnostic fee only seven days after the initial service. We even asked if they would be willing to apply the $95 diagnostic fee toward their annual maintenance plan as a goodwill gesture, but they would not budge. To be fair, the work itself was done properly. However, if you’re looking for a company that is willing to work with you on pricing or show some flexibility when you have a second issue shortly after a repair, this may not be the company for you. Our experience was essentially, “the issues are separate, so there’s another charge,” with no willingness to meet us halfway. The repair was good, but the customer-service experience and lack of flexibility left us disappointed.
