• Chrome was the original installer and they were called because of a blower noise. This was fixed but tech with "over 30 year's experience" repeatedly adjusted the thermostat. After he left, the blower remained on high speed and house gradually heated up. When I called them the next day, calling restrictions had been put on my number. I called another business and won't pay Chrome's bill.

• DJ was amazing- My new home always seemed dusty and air seemed like it was full of smog-I called Chrome after being referred.,,due to their service. DJ met with me and explained what I needed for cleaner more pure air last week-gave me price and I decided to move forward. • Had an emergency repair for outside unit not working. Managed to get a same day appointment with a 4 hour window. The rep who took the call was friendly, and emphasized with my not having AC in 100 degree weather. She verified my unit was under warranty. Tech (owner himself) came out late afternoon - he was friendly, did some trouble shooting and resolved the issue with a part under warranty. Pleasantly surprised to only be charged a trip fee. Of course that won't always be the case with AC units. Chrome would be on my call list should I need service again (hopefully not!)

• My AC stopped working and 2 different technicians from 2 independent companies in the DFW area told me it was the compressor which costs $6500, and because it’s a 10year old unit, they recommend replacing the whole AC unit for $12 to $14K. I called Chrome Heating & AC and the technician confirmed it was a minor issue which was immediately fixed and cost < $1200. There are honest AC companies out there and Chrome is one of them. Beware of the fraudulent ones.

• 6/16/2026 Once again I would like to say that DJ is amazing and what I appreciate is his honesty. Integrity plays a big role for me and DJ truly is one of those guys that makes that part of his lifestyle. I work in the customer service business as a service manager I shared my wife that DJ showed me who he is by his actions and that's why I bought into a service agreement. Since I'm knowledgeable about AC units and most electronic equipment and a vast number of things I was totally impressed while I was away what I suggested to my wife what I suspected the issue was they recognized that a wire was not connected on the control board on the main unit in the attic. I will always use Chrome heating and air conditioning and this is real. These technicians know what they're doing. DJ is very honest and knows his job extremely well. Actually he was training another technician and my wife said he was doing a really great job of training. Check them out! • Not a good experience from the get go. Asked tech to put on booties which he didn’t have so he had to take his shoes off. Was clearly annoyed. Seemed grumpy about being here. Poked around a little and said tstat needed to be changed. Quoted $2050! I asked for a line by line breakdown. He said no and said take it or leave it. Having done my home work I knew this quote was WAY over priced. Turned it down and got another company out the next morning who quoted $700 less and were personable, transparent on pricing and showed up and put booties on without being asked!
