• Climate Masters may be the best HVAC company in town, especially for old houses or anything complicated. They are stable, still the original ownership, lead installer has been there for a long time, union shop. Several neighbors have used them forever. They are expensive, but use good equipment, are eminently competent, smart, organized, agile, easy to work with, and they don't nickel-and-dime. We had them replace our central AC/furnace, which involved navigating expected and unexpected old house stuff, and fixing pre-existing issues along the way. I'm finicky, and both the owner and installer were good sports and willing to accommodate. Installation went smoothly, everything seems to be working fine, and the new system looks great and gets admiring comments from other trades and professionals.

Our unit went out during a 95 degree heat wave and they were out at our house by 7am the next business day and we had a quote with a solution ready for us by 9am. The team installing our new unit was incredibly efficient, kind and considerate. But the most important part I want to note is that Climate Masters saved us thousands of dollars. Another company we had called first quoted us 40% more than what Climate Masters was able to give us and their team was 100x nicer and more focused on customer service and support than the other company. • The team at Climate Masters helped us get a a complete HVAC replacement when our 22 year old system went out. We had an existing maintenance agreement with them and the entire team from the technician to the owner who came out as well helped us work through the process of choosing what HVAC was going to be right for us and our home. Their schedules were tight as our AC went out during a heat wave and they were kind enough to put in 2 AC window units to get us through the few days with no AC. The installation technicians were top notch: communicated well, were quick and throughly cleaned the area leaving it cleaner than it was before they were there. Would highly recommend.

• Man they got 4.9 stars that is hard to do considering most people only review when they have a complaint. It takes really good service for someone to go out of the way to leave a positive review. Usually they are just happy and move on. I don't know the guys name, he is older and has short hair and it's buzzed on the sides, guy has been really helping me with our AC and taught me things too that have really helped. And he is just a nice guy. Always a pleasure when he helps us out. Climate masters is worth the money and you may have to wait a week or so when they are busy but they always do a good honest job and don't overcharge and don't BS. I've had them come in fix the problem in 5 mins and not even charge us before. It might help we live a few blocks away. The guys there really know there stuff and I've had people who didn't actually screw stuff up before and the whole sign that says "we fix had jobs" couldn't be truer. They do a better job and for cheaper than some and they always seem honest. I'd rather wait a week for them then to get someone over here in 2 hours who just makes the problem worse. Go with them. You'll be a return customer (hopefully not but if you need them they are the best!) Btw the problem we had was cat hair has clogged the vents. We now shave our cat for the summer but the real problem was my landlord used a different company that could come faster and they installed the wrong size air filter and I thought it was the right size and kept replacing it. Turns out it was too small and wasn't even in the right place. Dude taught me to just put it behind the return fan but not in the actual " slot" inside the door. It allowed years of cat hair to build up and just cust my landlord more in long run. They had to do a return call and only charged us for the labor the second time. Really honest guys and more importantly the work is done right. Go with what they quote because cheating out will cost you more later

• I wouldn’t go as far as leaving a single star but it wouldn’t let me leave a negative Ms Heather canceled on Thursday due to short on techs. No problem except when you have your wife take a day off from work and you have to call them to see where they are and they tell you then 2nd cancellation ohhh this is a dandy one they thought they were going to Columbia il but they drove almost 3 hours west to Columbia Mo. Due to gps apparently. And wife missed day 2 of work So on day 3 (which is Saturday) my only day off in 21 days) I sit and wait they call tell me they will be here at 3 lol at 4:15 I call them and they tell me they are 30 minutes away I tell them don’t show up I’m mad by this time I guess if these are the kind of people that you want to do business with that’s on you but don’t say nobody tried telling you

• We bought our house in August of 2025 and quickly found out there was a huge leak in one of the AC units. We contacted several different companies to come out to diagnose what was wrong and give us potential repair or replacement prices. The type of unit that needed work was a "Unico" system and there are not a lot of companies in STL that will even work on them or know how to. Climate Masters is one of only two companies certified through Unico to work on their systems. Doug from Climate Master's was extremely professional and very good at his job. He came out to the house, was able to diagnose what was wrong, and give us a great price on a replacement system. He was fantastic to work with and an excellent communicator. Doug's team that came to replace the system were just as great. They brought all of their own equipment to cover our carpets and all of the furniture. They were very clean through the whole process and even vaccumed and cleaned up to leave the room in the same shape as they found it. After obtaining 8 quotes, I am happy we chose Climate Masters. I think you will be too.

• Climate Masters did a phenomenal job on my 100 year Holly Hills home. When discussing the project with Tom, my major concern was loosing space. I was aware this was going to be a huge challenging project....flat roof, 2 stories, a vent in every room, thick 2 layer brick walls, sunroom. Tom (former installer and owner), Scott (the installer) and Moe (apprentice) came up with a great plan using dead space the high ceiling and unusable closet space.
