• We had an excellent experience with Comfort Tech installing both a new furnace and a mini-split system (start to finish it was all done in two days!). Of the companies we spoke with, they seemed much more focused on understanding what our house actually needed, and Derek definitely had the best intuition for how to set up the heat pump and run the lines (some told us it was impossible). The installation was excellent, with the crew arriving promptly and working in a clean and organized way. Overall, I'd highly recommend Comfort Tech for its combination of competitive pricing, thoughtful, technically-informed advice, and excellent workmanship.

• Purchase and install of a new Mitsubishi Mini Split AC heat pump. The existing AC / Furnace works well for heating but on the cooling side wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t moving the cold where it was needed - the bedrooms. The new units installed by Derek and his team at Comfort Tech solved that issue. Each room now has its own climate control thermostat. Overall, we are pleased with the end result. We most definitely recommend Comfort Tech Heating and Cooling; they really focused on our needs and satisfaction. • Our air conditioning unit failed on a Friday of a long weekend, and after reaching out to our current HVAC after care provider, we were extremely disappointed with their response. A neighbour suggested we reach out to Comfort Tech, as he was very pleased with all the work Comfort Tech has done for him in the past. Derek and his team from Comfort Tech have been excellent to deal with. If you are wanting a professional, knowledgeable and proficient company committed to delivering superior customer service, please look no further! Right from the start, when we submitted an online request on a Sunday morning of a long weekend, Derek called within a minute and knowing that we had no working A/C during the unbearable heat, made himself available to attend our home that afternoon. He took the time to explain our options and answered all of our questions with no high-pressure sales tactics that are associated with other companies in the same industry. Derek took his time and educated us on the products available to us and the various price points associated with each and let us decide which was best for our needs. Derek and Devon attended on Wednesday and installed our new heat pump. The respect and care they showed for our home during the installation process and the clean up afterwards was fantastic. Derek also took the time to explain the new unit and walking us through all the work that was done throughout the house associated with this install prior to leaving. So many companies want to pack up and run out of the house, this was not the case. He was very patient and was willing to answer all of our questions. Comfort tech also has an aftercare program and we have switched over knowing that we will receive much better customer service than our previous and very large HVAV company that we have been with for over 30 years. • My Air Conditioning unit was kaputt and old and I called Derek who responded almost immediately and we set up a date - a few days later for a replacement unit. Brilliant! Tom and one assistant (sorry forget the name) worked professionally and tirelessly (in a really tight space) and most of the day to replace my old air conditioning . • In April our 35 year old heat pump (geothermal) failed and required replacement. After weeks of reading and research into whether to replace it with a new geo-unit or change to a high-efficiency air-source heat-pump instead, we opted to move to an air-source as the performance gap between the two has narrowed significantly since our first unit was installed. We met with a number of HVAC companies to review our homes’ requirements and their replacement proposals. They were all similar in their explanations of the proposed units however Derek Moyneur (owner of Comfort Tech) spent the most time discussing/understanding our expectations and our homes requirements before making a recommendation to go with a 2.5 ton Mitsubishi. As a business owner and hands-on installer, his understanding of the products and installation specifics were far more detailed than the other reps we met with. He has an obviously deep knowledge of HVAC systems and his thorough and patient approach in answering our questions really stood out for us. Follow-up questions were answered fully and quickly, further solidifying our decision to go with Comfort Tech. The installation team (including Derek) arrived on time with everything they needed to completely finish the removal and install in one day. The whole process went flawlessly including a review of the new units operations once tested and removal of the old unit and ductwork/piping, leaving the area cleaner than they found it. We’ve had the unit for about a month now and are completely satisfied with it and the excellent service provided by Comfort Tech. We will continue to use them for our HVAC maintenance needs and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for service or installation of a new unit.
