• Josh Kurmel has been very responsive, forthcoming, and helpful as we explored the possibility of replacing our gas furnace with a heat pump for cooling as well as heating. His team installed the indoor and outdoor units in a couple of days and tied them into our solar-electric system to keep it ON if there’s a grid outage. It came online just as our first heatwave hit and we’re very glad of it. Josh also helped us navigate the rebate application & permitting processes, which will give us a 16% discount when all is said and done. • The draft inducer motor on our Bryant furnace went bad, so the furnace would not come on at all. We appreciate the professionalism and quick response that we received from Controlled Air Systems. Repair tech Justin was able to acquire and install a new motor in short order. All good now. After multiple calls with no response to the company that installed our HVAC system, we were referred to Controlled Air Systems by our general contractor. • I am thrilled with my new HVAC system installed by Josh and his team. My old system was a nightmare - uneven heating and cooling, and just overall uncomfortable. I knew I needed a complete overhaul, including new ducts, registers, and replacing the A/C and gas heater with a heat pump. After researching, I had my heart set on a Mitsubishi heat pump and found Josh, a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor. From the start, Josh stood out from the other contractors I got bids from.
