• The AC Techs came out early in the morning and diagnosed the issue very quickly and was able to repair the unit the same day. My AC unit went out on Sunday and I sent an email and they replied the same day. They determined my Blower Motor was bad as well as multiple capacitors were bad as well. They displayed outstanding professional and customer service and were respectful and polite. I am not an expert but the pricing seems to be good and was less expensive than my previous AC company. I was also very happy that they did not try and just sell my new AC units. They also provided me with a Veteran Discount. Overall, I would highly recommend Desert Comfort Mechanical.

Because he was very knowledgeable and seemed honest, I proceeded with having him do a diagnostic. • I contacted Desert Comfort Mechanical after the company that installed my unit and completed the annual inspection on May 21 informed me that the 2-yr old capacitor was bad. The part was covered under warranty but the installation would be $444. I called Desert Comfort Mechanical to inspect the part and get an estimate to replace it. They responded right away to my call and on June 4 checked out the capacitor. Turns out the capacitor was not bad, and even if it was the cost to replace it would be half of what I was quoted. Because of this, Desert Comfort Mechanical will be my new AC company. I was grateful that there is still a reputable AC company that does not charge for unnecessary parts and repairs. Plus their technicians were personable and professional.

• I had been a customer of one of those big companies you always see commercials for on TV for over a decade but I had been extremely displeased with their service for years. I'd finally had enough and when looking for a new service provider, I had a short list of companies that I'd researched then ultimately contacted. Desert Comfort Mechanical were by far the fastest to respond to my weekend call. They provided me with straightforward information and clear pricing structure so I scheduled them to come out to my house. I could not be happier with the extremely high level of customer service and proactive support. I'm a single woman and they always treated me with respect as an educated consumer. My specific issue was intermittent and even when my unit behaved for the technician but misbehaved after he left, I was patiently listened to and responded to quickly over multiple occasions when I reached out over my issue regardless the day or the time of the day (reasonably). • Beware! I sought an estimate for a swamp cooler repair in spring 2024. One part needed to be replaced. Est was $1,600! The estimate was far, far out of line. I found the replacement part I needed (at a reputable Valley supplier) for $79 and had it installed by a tech they recommended who specializes in evap coolers for $225. I was told on the phone the fee for estimate would be $119. The guy tried to charge me $149. I paid him $119 and said goodbye. I love my evap cooler in spring and fall. All is well, and I have nothing good to say about this company. Maybe it was a bad day, or a dishonest employee.

• I cannot recommend Desert Comfort Mechanical enough. My older a/c developed a problem in which the interior fan would occasionally not start on a random basis. Re-booting the system would get it to work again, which proved the fans could blow and the compressor could compress, so it was far from a complete system failure. I called three of the most "reputable" companies in the valley and all three gave vague diagnoses then went straight to selling a new unit. I thought the system had life remaining and I called Doug at Desert Comfort Mechanical. He agreed, and before even scheduling a visit gave me an idea (for free) to try before spending any money. That was my first indication I had reached someone with real integrity. The idea ultimately did not work, but eliminated one possibility. He came shortly thereafter, diagnosed the entire system, found the problem (which had not been mentioned by any of the other three), and replaced the faulty part. The system has performed flawlessly for 12 days, and I have found my new a/c tech.

• Thursday night, I returned home, and my house thermostat was showing 85 degrees. I tried everything I knew to do without success. My husband searched for an AC repair company, saw the 5-star reviews for Desert Comfort Mechanical, and gave them a call. He called three companies, and Desert Comfort was the only one to call him back. They called back within 30 minutes. It was 9:00 pm by this time. Fidel said they could be out that same night or at 5:00 am. Since it was so late, already I opted for the early morning appointment. Fidel and another gentleman arrived when they said they would and, within 20 minutes, knew what the trouble was. They were both extremely professional and offered several options with reasonable pricing. They made the repairs the same day, provided me with Duct Cleaning company referrals, and even checked on me that evening to see if everything had cooled down and was working great. I will refer Desert Comfort to anyone asking if I know a good AC company and be a loyal customer from here on out. Desert Comfort is a perfect example of great customer service.

• Great company to work with. Overall, an exemplary job was performed by educated, respectful service techs. I had an emergency arise with my evap cooler on a Saturday night, with my regular company dumping me as a customer because I got disgruntled at their lack of professionalism on an emergency call request ( which they were unwilling to make). I contacted DCM the following Sunday morning, and although they were booked solid, they did make every effort to assure me that I would be taken care of. I opted to wait until Monday with a 11-1pm window. Doug, the tech, called me at 11:15 to say they were on their way. When they arrived, they were very concerned, as they found noooooo issue at all. It was a mystery as to way the swamp cooler was blowing hot air. They didn't attempt to gouge me with unnecessary parts replacements. Showed me the system was working fine and educated me ( a single woman) on the inner workings of my cooling system. Hands down, one of the best company service calls I have ever had. • Late in the evening noon on a Sat., my AC stopped working(temp was 110). A call was placed to a company to remain un-named. After more than 3 hours without a returned phone call. I called Doug who answered immediately.(I later found out that he had been working since 2:30 am) After explaining my situation, he informed me that he would have to call a co-worker to drive, (observing company safety regulations, regarding over stressing of techs) but, assured me that he would be out to fix my AC. It did, however, take him over 1.5 hours to find us because he got lost and the office failed to give him our number so he could reach us. Seems crazy to me.
