• After using E M Air for more than 20 years on multiple projects, I was disappointed by my recent experience. Unfortunately, the company has changed. When I needed assistance, I did not feel that customer service was their priority. After reading other recent reviews, I can see that my experience is not unique and that other homeowners have had similar concerns. Long-term customers value reliability, responsiveness and support when issues arise. Sadly, this experience did not reflect the level of service I had come to expect. • We just had a new furnace installed at my mom’s place. We called Thursday as it broke down and the next day they installed the new furnace. The service men were very courteous and professional. • My furnace has stopped working, and the house is freezing. I tried calling your after-hours emergency line — it says to press 1 for emergency service, but when I do, it says the entry is invalid. • No doubt they have such a bad review. I moved to a new place which and they have E-M Air system's sticker on the furnace and their number for any service or sales. When you call them, they don't even have this house as a customer. The guy was totally helpless and was asking me to google for the solution.

• Terrible customer service. We built a new home and they were the installation company for our air conditioner. Our air conditioner unit was not working form the time moved in the home which means they did not test it. We tried to get service quickly as it was 30 degrees in our home since Sunday, it’s now Wednesday and we have 2 small children. Their service manager Allan was very rude on the phone with me and stopped returning my phone calls. When I tried to talk with someone else I was told I couldn’t and I would have to wait for a call back, no urgency what so ever. We have been trying to have a technician come out for over 48 hours and nothing so far.

• The only reason they are still in business is because they are cheap and gets the contract from home developers. They make you sign terms that are 10 years long. It will cost you $20000 to break the contract. They don't give proper responds to you when you ask them questions. These are the type that takes your money and turn their backs on you.

• Vista and EM air never service your defected hot water heater. I just moved into our new house and on the first day we found that the water didn't heat up and we tried to call EM air and Vista. We were out of hot water, we called and beg for a service technician to come for 4 days. Service Technician was not from EM, but the subcontract out too. The technician simple came and said do not have the part to fix it. The technician also cannot tell how long we have to wait. We cannot wait any longer because we have senior at home and really need to take shower. We have to contract with other company. Then Vista just keep asking me to buyout. I would NOT RECOMMENDED this company and if you are buying a new home and seeing their label, you better ask the home seller to buyout the water heater first before you made the offer. If 0 star can give, I would give 0.

• E-M Air installed my A/C unit in a new build construction and within less than 4 years its no longer working (along with other A/C units in the neighboring properties). I tried to hire E-M Air to fix it, but said they don't service them. I've called two dozen other companies and no one else knows HOW to service this particular model - they all say to call E-M Air. What kind of company will install a product but won't service them?
