• Our 21 year-old hot water heater sprung a leak and my neighbor enthusiastically recommended Ed's Heating and Air. I sent a text message at 8am and Ed responded within 15 minutes. He scheduled the replacement for the next day and gave a very reasonable quote based on a photo of the existing unit. Ed arrived on time, replaced the hot water heater & inlets, then checked all the valves. Once he made sure there were no drips and everything was fully functional, he cleared the area, swept and hauled away all the trash, leaving it cleaner than it was before. Ed was very professional and efficient, and an overall nice guy. You would never know that this wasn't his specialty. We will definitely call him again for any HVAC needs in the future, and highly recommend him to our neighbors and friends.

• It's sooo hard finding contractors and repairmen that I can trust nowadays. It seems like whenever they see a female customer, they immediately see a $ sign on her forehead and try to take advantage of her. Ed showed up on my doorstep after an air ducts cleaning company broke my furnace. I was so frustrated when I told Ed about it, and not only that he listened, he was determined to fix my problem as soon as possible because he didn't want me and my kids to be without heat. I'm not going to go into details about my problems with the air ducts company, but let me tell you something, Ed was the answer to my prayers - he lifted the burden off of my shoulders that day and put a smile on my face. He was transparent and honest that doing the job would be excessive and was not necessary. He took photos of the furnace and explained why he was saying this . It is not common for a contractor to put their morals first.
