I asked why was the amount so much since this was in addition to them getting paid from the home warranty, they said it is needed and the text sent me photos before the maintenance. • Excellence Plumbing was referred to me through my home warranty. Their techs worked under my kitchen sink and replaced the faucet but didn’t turn the hot‑water valve back on. When I turned the valve back on over the weekend, I found water streaming from under the sink. I called twice today — no return call the first time — on my second call, I was told the earliest they could come was tomorrow between 11–3, even though it was an urgent situation. When I explained everything, the person on the phone became defensive and gave me attitude instead of helping a new customer with a problem they might have contributed to. Very unprofessional.

• This company is a life saver. My AC went out and we went through our home warranty and unfortunately got stuck with a shady contractor. Excellence Air had to pick up the pieces. Off the bat they were extremely communicative and response. The owner took the time to go over everything I needed and why I needed it. Vardan came out to evaluate my AC and he was incredibly knowledgeable and super kind. I needed my evaporator coil replaced and lines converted to meet the new condensing unit and Ricardo (I believe was his name) came out and he took his time and ensured everything was installed and properly installed. He also explained everything he did and on top of that he fixed the issue in our house of my kids rooms being so hot. This company surpassed my expectations and they truly care and are honest. It’s so hard to find that these days. We were out of a house over 4 weeks due to the first contractor and Excellence Air came in and saved the day. I am very appreciative for this company.

At times, I felt a little uncomfortable because when I tried to explain something or ask a question, I wasn't always able to finish my sentence before being told to wait or stop. It came across as a little rude and could definitely be improved. That said, when it comes to technical knowledge and getting the job done correctly, I was very impressed. He fixed the problem completely, and I would absolutely have him work on my A/C again. I'll take a technician who knows his business and fixes the problem properly, even if his communication style could use a little improvement.
