• I would give For Saving Home Service 6 stars if I could! I recently purchased an older home built in the 60's that had a barely working furnace and water heater from the early 2000's and an AC unit from the 90's that we didnt believe worked. I spent a few weeks getting quotes from 8 separate companies (Enercare, Reliance, AtlasCare, etc) and was all set to go with one of the big names when I saw a booth while leaving Costco with information on Furnaces. I set up a home visit for a quote and a few days later Stan from For Saving Home Service showed up at my door. Stan was amazing. No big pushy sales pitch, answered all of my questions, and gave a quote that easily beat every other company I had priced out. There was also the added benefit of getting a large cash back rebate from Costco for the Furnace followed by a 3% additional cash back bonus for using my Costco Credit card. In terms of the install, the team was very professional and friendly. The laid down protective mats all on the hardwood between my front door and furnace room in the basement as to ensure nothing was damaged from their work. They also cleaned up all working areas before leaving. Since the install, the Heat Pump (Brand: Direct Air) has worked flawlessly and the furnace has only came on once when the temp dropped below -10 outside. The water heater and furnace have also seemingly worked perfectly. If anyone is in the market for heat pumps, water heaters, or furnaces I would definitely suggest going with the For Saving Home Service team! Update Sept 2026: I called For Savings to do an annual maintenance on my system. The tech that did the work, Masoud, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He completed the needed work without issue and then spent some time answering questions on items I was looking into related to my system (like moving my heat pump to the other side of my house). Once he knew what I was looking for, he contacted the office to help get things set up so that I wouldn’t have to call. He also took the needed photos for the person who would be coming to do the move so that I could get it done before the fall busy season with people needing furnace work as temps drop. I really appreciated their friendly and helpful team!

• This HVAC company in the Markham/Scarborough area installed my AC unit. After about two years of use, the refrigerant became low and the system started freezing up. I contacted the company and asked them to come inspect the unit, but they never showed up. I eventually had another HVAC technician inspect the system, and they determined that the evaporator coil was leaking. Based on my experience, I would not recommend dealing with this company. If you install an AC system, make sure the company stands behind its work and responds when there is a problem.

• HORRIBLE WORKMANSHIP & ABSENTEE MANAGEMENT – 7 Breakdown Visits in One Season Do NOT use For Saving Home Service Inc. (TSSA License #000154100). They installed a Carrier HVAC system and furnace at my home (June 2022). This summer alone, technicians have had to come to my house SIX separate times to repair recurring breakdowns on both the AC and furnace. Every time they send someone out, they perform a temporary band-aid fix that lasts for 48 to 72 hours before the lines freeze solid again and the entire system shuts down. The installers are completely incompetent and clearly lack proper technical training on line sizing, airflow, or refrigerant balancing. To make matters worse, front-line phone support continuously dodges accountability—shuffling calls between departments while refusing my repeated requests to have an Owner, Manager, or Supervisor call me back. I currently have houseguests staying in my home with no working AC in August heat because of their substandard work and total lack of customer service. Formal complaints have now been submitted to Consumer Protection Ontario, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), and Carrier Corporate Consumer Relations to demand a full technical audit and proper re-installation. Save yourself the nightmare and hire a professional, accountable HVAC company instead.
