  • We just had the annual servicing done on our two Valor branded gas fireplaces by this company. I phoned in to get the appointment time and date that I wanted. The technician came to our house right on time and got the two fireplaces cleaned and serviced for a reasonable price. He also brought along a small piece of paper with a reminder on it that FortisBC offers an appliance maintenance rebate for our two units that I could apply for online. We will be making use of this company's services in the future as our needs dictate it.

  • Gaslight installed a heat pump system in our home and they were great to work with. Their estimator- Gordon - was knowledgeable and thorough. He explained the benefits of heat pumps in plain language and Gaslights cost estimate was very competitive. They indicated that since they deal directly with the manufacturer- Daikin- they are able to get a preferred price that they pass onto consumers. The installers were on time, competent and did a great job of cleaning up after the install. I would highly recommend Gaslight for heat pump installation.

  • The team that installed our heat pumps did it on one of the Heaviest Rain Days that we had in December 2025. Despite the mud that they had to work in, they were extremely respectful of keeping our interior as clean as possible. They could have easily cancelled because of the extreme weather, but they pushed through and made sure we understood how to work with the system.

  • My gas fireplace wasn’t working and I called GASLIGHT technician came and it was a battery needed in the thermostat so he put a new battery in and although his callout price is $155 I wasn’t charged anything so my invoice was zero I would recommend gASLIGHT 100%

The staff are customer focused ( another company said we needed a new fireplace, Gaslight did the necessary maintenance to so a replacement was not required for another 3 years),and know their business. If you call and get a message Jen will be back to you within 30 minutes. And they stand by their products. They have earned the 5 star rating given by most of their clients. No hesitation in recommending them to others!
