• About 2 years ago they replaced the RTU's on my wife's business for the landlord. Not a complex task, complete package units, but had to come back several times. 1st trip, after several calls of it getting hotter instead of cooler, they saying it needed to acclimate. My wife said after the install, they never came into the business to check anything, camera's confirmed. They showed back up the next morning, they had mis-phased wiring the unit up. 2nd trip was to replace the thermostat on the other unit they missed wired. Same thermostat as other units and had been installed for several years, but they claimed she changed it after the RTU replacement. They made several trips to adjusted the outside damper. After selling off part of her business, and sealing off the a opening between this suite from the other's, she has complaining of how hot the front was, after closing the wall to the next suite it got worse. Now so everyone understands, each suit is the same sqft with each its own 5 ton unit. The unit is 2/3 from the front and this suite is well insulated compared to the others. The front waiting area was insulated to the roof for sound, so I can see with no return it being hotter, but the 2 rooms on the other side. So I decided to have a return to the front to resolve this. While connecting it to the main return trunk line below the unit I saw why they kept coming back to adjust the damper. The flex duct was shoved into the return plenum about 2' and was blocking the return air flow. See picture. Also shown how the wiring was not fully installed through conduit and left rubbing the metal roof decking and is also ran through a hole unprotected in the curb adapter they replaced when replacing the unit. See picture. They never QC'd their work, undoubtedly sent house techs to replace a commercial unit that didn't understand 3-phase. Being it the this field, QC for boilers/chillers and facilitiesfor years , I can't recommend them.

• I dont know if their work is any good because we never got that far due to the astounding and nearly comical level of incompetence of yalls receptionist/scheduling system. I have never in my life had to try so hard to get a job scheduled, only to finally think I have it scheduled and when the poor guy gets here he has not been informed about the job that was quoted to us and half the job wasnt even scheduled. I threw two stars for him and I thought the guy that gave us the quote was excellent. However the constant back and forth calling to try to schedule, promises to call us back at certain times that never happened, constant excuses that kept changing about why things couldnt be scheduled, to finally just the rudeness with which I was spoken to the final time I called trying to schedule. I canceled appointments and rearranged my entire schedule to try to accommodate the scheduled appointment which the receptionist didnt even bother asking if it was a good day to have it done but after everything we'd already been through with her I just made do because I didnt want another week of back and forth. I felt awful having to tell that young man to leave because it wasnt his fault but at this point it was completely ridiculous and unacceptable and I wasnt going to play the games with the receptionist again to try to reschedule. We really did try to hire this company and are out the service fee even though we seriously tried our hardest to hire yall but theres just a point at which itd be insane to keep tolerating things.

• Called Hammond for an iced up evaporator because they were so professional and helpful last time. Tyler came out and did troubleshooting. Showed and explained to me the gauge numbers indicating a bad valve. The unit needed a new part. Tyler had his team check warranty with positive results saving part cost. I was going out of town for weekend so Tyler set up unit to run at higher set point and rescheduled for Tuesday morning. Right on time Tyler arrived and quickly replace the expansion valve and drier. Tyler is a credit to the Hammond brand and definitely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Brian called to ask if he could move appointment earlier and was there in 20 mins, diagnosed issue fast and had unit running in no time

• We are so happy with the great service we were given! The inspection process was thorough, the feedback on what we needed done & what to expect was helpful as well. The names that I can remember are Hunter & Jeff. Both the HVAC (Hunter & one other gentleman- I don’t recall his name) & the Sheetrock (Jeff) people were super professional & didn’t cut corners. They also cleaned up the messes made by our AC unit & all of the insulation that was cause by the HVAC failure which is why we initially called them, which they didn’t have to do so they really went above & beyond. 10/10 great people!
