• Earlier this week our hot water tank quit working. With two young children and a house full of people , you really don’t realize how much you rely on hot water!! We called Lafontaine Mechanical first thing in the morning and we had a tech, Allan, out the same day. Upon initial inspection , Allan was able to identify and fix the issue all within’ 30 minutes. After determining that a part was required to complete the fix , on his way back to the office he called to say he had the part and would be back the same night. Talk about great customer service! From the time Allan arrived to the time he left , he was kind , courteous and you could tell he was very knowledgable. His compassion and willingness to go the extra step to come back the same evening was very appreciated.! Our family works in the trades and construction industry and we know a lot of professionals. I can confidently say we would recommend Lafontaine Mechanical over and over again!

• Called Lafontaine Mechanical to have someone service my "weak" cooling AC in Tiny. Amira took all my details, and she scheduled for someone to take a look on July (holday btw). I was in no rush but I did receive an appt. notice for July 1. Also spoke to Alan to confirm the situation and scheduled timeframe for the service visit. Idris and Alan both showed up at the earlier part of the time range, and diagnosed the situation and symptoms. I was offered a couple of options depending on what they found. Tests indicated a 50% drop in refrigerant which meant there was a leak in the system. The splitter valve was found to be the culprit. It was tightened, tested and line replenished. The majority of the work was done in about an hour and the system is back to normal for my ductless AC. We'll have to see if this happens again in the future which might mean looking at the other options offered by Idris. Appreciated that they came on a holiday and during the uncomfortable weather this week. Kudos to the team. Invoicing was fair considering that I needed a pound of refrigerant (R410A). House is cooling so the household is extremely happy!
