If there's a furnace installer in Saskatoon better than Danny at Lato Mechanical I'd be very surprised. Danny diagnosed our furnace issue (it was dead), offered expert advice and a full picture of costs and considerations, and provided a complete breakdown of replacement details including costs, timing, and other considerations. He was amazingly fast, efficient, and professional as well as affable and honest. He took us through all the details of the new installment, what to watch for, and how to properly maintain it. Save yourself the hassle of 4 estimates and all that research and just get Lato Mechanical. Fantastic.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Danny replaced my old air conditioning unit quickly and professionally. I couldn't have had a better experience. I had initially contacted a different company in Saskatoon and had to wait a week for them to tell me I needed a new air conditioning unit, which I knew I did as it was very old. After waiting for a week, I was going to have to wait another week for them to quote me, and then another 2 weeks to schedule the install. I luckily was referred to Lato Mechanical and gave Danny a call. He immediately answered and coincidentally was on his way home from a different job site. He stopped by my house to confirm what I needed, sent me a quote a few hours later, and was able to come very quickly to install my unit! Everything is working great! Thank you Dan!

I know a little bit about furnaces and Danny was recommended by a friend. I called him and explained what was going on. He got the part I needed and then came over and talked me through everything. He answered all my questions, and offered advice and what to watch for. He stayed to ensure that my furnace was heating up the house again. I have called furnace people before and they have been not so kind and condescending even. Danny is friendly and informative. Inviting a stranger into your home may not always entirely safe but I felt safe with Danny and thank him for his professionalism. I will call him again in the future.

Excellent service, communicates promptly for appointments, provides tips and information every time for plumbing and heating issues. Reasonably priced, we'll never go back to the larger companies that we have used in the past, they don't come anywhere close and would rather support a business such as his for quality work.

I rarely leave reviews on Google unless the experience is extremely bad or extremely good. Fortunately, Lato Mechanical falls into the latter, and I feel lucky to have found them. Danny, the owner of the company, came to inspect my furnace after another technician told me that my heat exchanger was rusted and cracked and needed replacement. The first thing Danny did was verify whether the heat exchanger was truly beyond repair, and then check if it was still under warranty — instead of simply trying to sell me a new furnace like many salespeople would do. I had done some research on ChatGPT beforehand, but it was clear that Danny’s practical experience and deep knowledge were far beyond what I expected. We scheduled an installation date, and during the entire process, Danny worked efficiently while still being very detail-oriented. Everything went smoothly. Price-wise, I compared quotes from five companies, and his quote was right in the middle. The lowest-priced company didn’t even have a valid license, and another cheaper quote was simply due to a lower-quality furnace. One big issue with large companies is that you never know who they will send to do the installation. But with Lato Mechanical, I knew for sure that Danny himself would be the one installing my furnace — and that gave me a lot more confidence. Overall, I highly recommend Lato Mechanical.

Danny always goes above and beyond for us. He is kind and truly doesn’t want us to spend money if it’s not needed. I love his honesty and that he doesn’t pressure us to buy things we don’t need. He also gives us tips which helps a lot too so we don’t have to call him every time a pilot light goes out. Even stuff like furnace filters, he has saved us so much money over the years. He is a one man show and we are now his loyal customers as long as he will have us. We got ripped off by a bigger named company(I’ll leave their name out)but the sales gimics they had seemed great until we actually needed to use them. Never again. I say stay with the small guys.
