Wonderful experience with every member of the team! They handled my oil tank decommissioning, and the install of new furnace and HVAC. The new system looks great! They're a meticulous and efficient group. I appreciate how smooth and easy it all went. They handled all the details of rebates and permits. Even the city of Seattle mechanical inspector commented on how he is impressed by the company's work! He said its always fine work from them. I recommend Make It Wright wholeheartedly!

Matthew and his team were so easy to work with start to finish. I had lots of weird buds that took forever, offered things I hadn’t asked for or were way over the budget I had established. Matthew was quick, efficient, fair and the team was punctual, polite, communicative and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone and am so glad I found them!

We couldn’t be happier with the new heat pump and air conditioning system that Matthew Wright and the team at Make It Wright HVAC installed for us. They also decommissioned our oil tank and went above and beyond by finding a charitable organization to donate the unused heating oil before the tank was decomissioned. That level of thoughtfulness really impressed us. I’ve consulted Matthew on several home projects over the years, and he’s always been honest, knowledgeable, and willing to offer different perspectives—even when it meant recommending an option that wasn’t the most profitable for him. That kind of integrity is priceless. Before this project, I got four bids. Make It Wright HVAC came in about 40% less than some of the big-name companies with the radio ads and flashy wrapped trucks, yet the quality, professionalism, and service were exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Matthew and his team again. Highly recommend—11/10!

Matt and his crew are simply outstanding, the best HVAC team I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and I've worked with quite a few. They took on a genuinely complex duct system design and installation, solving real challenges including high pressure issues and excessive noise that had plagued my furnace. The end result works beautifully, and the difference is night and day. What sets Matt apart isn't just his technical expertise. It's his professionalism and patience. I'll be the first to admit I can be a demanding customer, and I changed the design on him multiple times throughout the project. Not once did Matt make me feel like an inconvenience. He embraced every change with a positive attitude and made sure the final solution was exactly what I wanted. His crew matches his standard entirely. They are thorough, detail-oriented, and a genuine pleasure to have in your home. You can tell they take real pride in their work. If you're looking for an HVAC specialist who combines top-tier skill with outstanding customer service, look no further. I recommend Matt and his crew without any hesitation. Highest possible praise.

I cannot recommend Make It Wright highly enough. I’ve worked with several HVAC companies over the years, and Matthew and his team stand far above the rest. From the first interaction, Matthew was exceptionally kind, professional, and transparent, qualities that are surprisingly rare in this industry. What sets Make It Wright apart is how involved Matthew is as the owner. He is frequently on-site supervising or performing the work, laying out the plan with his crew, and ensuring everything is done with care and precision. His team reflects his values: conscientious, diligent, respectful of your home, and incredibly skilled. They are careful with every step of an install and take real pride in doing things the right way rather than finishing the job as fast as possible. One of the biggest advantages of working with them is their ability to cut new ducting on-site, which saved me significant time, cost, and the hassle of coordinating additional subcontractors. When I replaced my old furnace with a new mini-split system, Matthew rerouted my cold air return from the floor into the ceiling and integrated everything seamlessly with my existing ductwork. The system works beautifully, far more efficiently, and having AC has been a game-changer in the summer. What impressed me most was Matthew’s honesty and advocacy. He proactively walked me through available rebates, explained how to get the best possible price, and even advised me to wait on another project so I could benefit from upcoming tax incentives. It is incredibly rare to find a contractor who will tell you to wait so you can save money. The quality of their work and customer service has been outstanding every time, over several years. I have brought them back for maintenance, and I have referred multiple friends and neighbors who have all had excellent experiences as well. If you are looking for an HVAC business that is trustworthy, meticulous, fairly priced, and genuinely cares about its customers, Make It Wright is the gold standard. I would not go anywhere else.

Our experience with Make it Wright HVAC was entirely positive. They installed a Mitsubishi air source ducted heat pump and air handler. There was no hard sell and the price was competitive, with an estimate which went into detail which we appreciated. Matt went over the many considerations with us such as sizing, outdoor unit location, and backup heat (which we were glad to omit). Having had concerns with other companies regarding license violations we found no problems there either. They did excellent work, with extra care with the air handler ducting and refrigerant lines. I would highly recommend them.

Matthew & crew were delightful to work with. They were, down to the last man, communicative, thorough, straight-forward, and worked clean. I appreciate each one of them for making the whole process of furnace replacement not only painless but rather a pleasure.

So grateful to have found (Make It Wright HVAC) to replace our gas furnace. Matt Wright is a smart, thoughtful human and his crew, Rod and Noel are STARS! We have a less-than-ideal setup with the furnace located in our crawlspace, under the house and they managed it all, with great attention to detail and no complaints. Clearly a business that has created a really nice work culture. I'd recommend 100%.

Matt, Andy, and their crew are one of the best organizations I've ever had the pleasure to work with. This install - replacement of my old oil system with all-electric heating/cooling system - was one of my largest purchases as a homeowner, so I was pretty jumpy. But from the moment I met Matt, when he did the walkthrough and taught me more than I ever realized there was to know about home heating; to the day the team completed the install and ensured I was oriented & ready to go - I had zero doubt that I'd selected the best there is. They spent all the time I needed educating me, asking me carefully what my preferences or concerns were, enthusiastically answering every last question I had, demonstrating not only laser focus on my satisfaction but also their clear love of, and extraordinary expertise in, what they do. I've never experienced anything like it. Every single person I encountered was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and - frankly - genuinely HAPPY to be doing the work. A true demonstration of the word TEAM in every sense! Very responsive to every emailed question, too, before/during/post install; flexible to my needs in terms of scheduling; and continue to be there for me at the drop of a hat if I have questions at any time. Their pricing, too, came in below "the competition". Before you hire ANYONE else, bring them in!

Matt, Romero, Noel, and Josue did such a great job in fixing a recurrent leak problem that other HVAC companies couldn't find. Their approach to finding the cause of our heat pump leaks (indoor coil and line sets) was so methodical and measured, it was wonderful to see their competence and results! Our unit worked great during the 95° temps we had in mid-July! Thanks Make It Wright!

Matt Wright, of Make It Wright HVAC, took on my nightmare HVAC situation left from the terrible installation of a heat pump mini-split system by a different company. They pulled ALL the correct permits and then in a matter of days fixed ALL the lines and HVAC code violations and it passed the city inspection. Matt and his team have a very good working relationship. The installers were qualified, polite and hardworking. Andy and Matt 'held my hand' through the process, which helped ease my stress greatly! At my request, Matt recommended a contractor to fixed the damage done to a structural wall by the previous HVAC installers. And that process went smoothly as well. The Make It Wright team stepped into a mess, created by others, and with great calm and skill fixed it all. Thank you to them all.

Matt, Rod, Ramiro, Erik, and the entire Make it Wright team are excellent. Every person we interacted with was friendly, professional, and skilled. No part of the job was out of scope - from planning and system design, removal of old equipment, electrical work, floor and ceiling cuts, ducting, all the way to the install and system configuration. They did it all. They even got a huge decommissioned oil furnace out of our crawl space. And they did some tricky duct work to navigate around supports and joists without any cuts. They ask questions to stay ahead of unknowns and make good judgement calls when the work requires an audible to stay on track. There were no cost overruns, the work was timely, and they were incredibly respectful of us and our home. Above all else, their work looks and performs great! We love our new whole home heat pump system.

Matt Wright exhibited a calming demeanor while educating me on installation of an air-conditioner. He consistently/quickly answered my phone calls and or emails. His crew and electrician were efficient, polite always showing up on time and going the extra mile. Awesome Service!!!!

I Recently contracted Make It Wright to replace my gas furnace with a heat-pump system. We had gotten bids from 5 companies, which were competitively priced and professionally presented, though only Make It Wright was willing to cater to our preference of doing a central system rather than a multi head ductless system. The other contractors baulked at the complexity of getting new equipment into the cramped mechanical area in our house, as well as running the requisite return to the upstairs of our house, which all of the contractors agreed would be needed for AC to work well in the summer. Matthew Wright (the owner), did the initial inspection and quotes himself and was very willing to entertain my ideas about how we could get things done. Together we came to a solution, which was to mount the new equipment in the attic, and run the outlet down a awkwardly positioned chase, and an extra return through the back of a cupboard. All things considered this was a very elegant solution. Matthew brought in a crew of around 4-6 people (varying by day) for a total of 5 days. The original quote was 3 days of work, but alas the old house had some difficulties that could not be fully known until work was under way. Matthew and his crew work diligently through very long hours to get things done as quickly as possible, there was no hint of up charging, they simply did the work that was agreed to a great standard. All of the crew were pleasant to have in the house, they did the appropriate amount of cleaning between days and the house was spotless at the end of the job. Our young kids enjoyed the small interactions with the crew, and missed them when they were finished! There was a single item of follow up work that was completed same day without extra charge and fully rectified our concerns. Overall I would say the Make It Wright team excels the communication with the customer necessary to make sure everyone is on the same page, their workmanship seems top notch too! I believe we received a good value quote for the work that was undertaken, especially as we opted into the "hard way", and we don't regret it!

We asked Matt to diagnose a problem we were having with our old furnace early last year. He was gracious enough to fix the problem that evening, but did inform us the furnace was needing to be replaced. Fast forward to just before Christmas and it broke down again (different issue). We decided to bite the bullet and have it replaced. Matt gave us estimates for several options and his recommendations. We chose a much more efficient gas furnace and could not be happier. Matt and his crew worked through the weekend and we had a new quiet furnace putting out even heat in our old Ballard home before Christmas. We would highly recommend Make it Wright HVAC!

In Nov2024 our 24 year old Polaris combo water heater died along with the 30 year old forced air furnace. We upgraded the Polaris and changed the furnace to a VenTum Thermal 2000 air handler. Matthews team custom fit the new air-handler into the existing plenum and duct work. All done in a day and excellent workmanship. Another HVAC contractor that was in the utility room was very impressed with the seams and construction quality.

Make It Wright did an excellent job with my conversion from my oil furnace to a heat pump system. The company handled everything, from an electric panel upgrade to removal of the old furnace and decommissioning the underground oil tank. Their price was reasonable and all the crews involved were thorough and hard-working. I highly recommend them.

Our experience with Make it Wright was outstanding. The sales process was informative and we were provided with several options to choose from that fit our budget. The installation happened on time and the team members who came in and did the work were polite, protected our home, and were detailed in how they installed the system. We're very happy with the end result and grateful to the Make it Wright team.

Excellent work by Matthew from Make It Wright. Matthew explained our options, the pros and cons of each choice, and gave us solid estimates of each. He and his crew completed their work efficiently, carefully, and on time. I'd definitely recommend Make It Wright for your HVAC needs.

Matt and his crew at "Make it Wright" deserve the highest rating with me and I set HIGH standards. I needed my air conditioning system replaced in conjuction with my existing oil furnace and Matt did a phenomenal job coordinating every detail. I totally loved that they were always available for calls and questions on everything and were always on time for appointments and left a text when they were on the way to my place. Also when there was later glitch due to the furnace, they jumped into action and got everything rectified. Cudos to Colin for rectifying that! They all worked together well and I highly rcommend them.
