When the repair person explained the problem, he said if his repair didn't work, the next solution would be another AC unit costing between $12,000-15,000! WHO could afford that? We bought a new (almost same size). AC unit last summer for another one of our homes at half that price.

• In January, my furnace had an outage of the hot surface ignitor. You replaced it. Six weeks later the replacement failed and you came out and replaced it under warranty, but the last statement by your tech was "if this breaks again, it will be a full charge call." Six weeks later, it failed again, and rather than paying another $500 for another third rate part, I started splitting firewood and heated using my fireplace. Your warranty policy is not acceptable to me, and this series of events does not speak well of your company. UPDATE: Within a few days after the above review was filed, the company contacted me, gave me an apology, gave me an explanation of what happened and what they had done to correct their errors and sent someone out to examine my furnace to set what version of the control circuit board was installed. Turned out it was a new version which used a different version of the hot surface ignitor (HSI) that runs at a lower voltage, which means the regular HSI at the higher voltage did not work well with the new board. The manufacturer did not change the connector of the ignitor so old ones would fit but not work properly. Eventually, they installed a new control board and HSI as a warranty job and things are working well now. I am now a satisfied customer. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This is a new contact for a different issue. The estimator just left. I accepted the bid but was not satisfied with the bid details. It was too generic with no detailing of the job or the individual items to be replaced and the replacement costs. Based on previous experience, the boss will read this and reply.
