• I needed the A/C refrigerant removed before doing a repair, so I called expecting to make an appointment. They told me to just drop by. The parking lot was packed when I arrived, but I was only there for 30 minutes — incredible service. I’ve been recommending this shop for years. I bought a radiator from them about 20 years ago when they were in Port Moody, and they also resealed a vintage radiator for my dad over 30 years ago that’s still working today. They’re busy for a reason: fair pricing, quality work, and they get you through quickly. Highly recommended.

• The wordy response I think says a lot ie. “Sorry Not Sorry”... I’m sure the shop does great work and it’s true, I only got a quote. However, after getting a second opinion I found out that the information that I was given wasn’t entirely correct and I got the work completed at a lower cost somewhere else. These review sites are meant primarily for consumers to share their experience. The staff were friendly and they recommended I get a second opinion and I’m glad I did.

• I had to get an Out of Province vehicle inspection done after recently moving to BC. Setting up the appointment was an easy phone call and on the day, the check in was easy. While the inspection had to be delayed a day due to unforeseen illness of the technician, Kasra the Service Manager was very apologetic and ensured that the inspection was completed early the following day. • This was my first visit to this shop. My A/C was not blowing cold, so I went in at 2:00, was greeted by two friendly young ladies at the counter. I asked how long, the one told me it would go in right away and be about an hour. Very accurate timing on both. The office and the shop were both clean and tidying which tells me that this business is well run. I would highly recommend this shop. • Steve and Kasra helped me out with my vehicle. Paolo the air conditioning specialist in the shop, is an expert in his craft and has been in the business for decades. I had another shop do an AC recharge for me and when it leaked out everywhere they wanted to fix one part and charge me another full Recharge fee and then see of there is another leak but Port Moody Auto and Air doesn't do that they diagnose the issue and give you a 90 warranty on the AC Gas.
