• We had the pleasure of using Queen City this morning. This was our first time ever really needing any HVAC work. It’s always hard to know if you’re picking the right company for help but Queen City was excellent! BJ, their comfort specialist, exceeded my expectations. He offered to bring coffee before he arrived, was very professional and friendly. Almost like he was a friend that we haven’t seen in a while. He listened to all of our concerns and made sure to check each area thoroughly. He’s been in the field for a while so he’s also very knowledgeable in explaining the problem(s) and giving us the options to fix them. When it came down to talking about payment, he made sure to find us the best option to be able to pay for the job and didn’t make us feel pressured to buy anything day of, if me and my husband needed to talk about things some more. The pricing of our jobs were actually very great. No overpricing or upselling. BJ also left his card with us and made sure to let us know that he was a call or text away with any questions or other problems we might have. Last but not least, booking our appointment for the job was super simple and we had a great experience! Can’t wait for the work to be completed.

• I just want to thank Mat and Tyler for being so honest. I had an estimate prior to them for over $1000.00 to fix my AC. I knew that was not a fair price for what needed to be done so I called the Queen City heating and air and plumbing. Tyler came by the same day and gave me an estimate for only a couple hundred dollars. The next day, Mat came by and fixed the problem just like that. • Dustin did a great job providing me with all the information and options to go about my heating problem. Very respectful and kind and did not push any service I didn’t want. I decided to go with this company rather than Morris-Jenkins because of better pricing and straight forward communication over the phone. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone who is on the fence between choosing an HVAC company in Charlotte, NC! UPDATE: So first day they came, I thought it was great but they made a mistake and charged me twice for it. So the technician suggested I run the sensor of my HVAC unit further down the main system so it won’t get too hot so my furnace wouldn’t shut off. I asked him are you sure this is the root problem? I even suggested some ppl who had my issue reported that their thermostat may had been faulty or some small part within the furnace was faulty and giving him wrong readings. The technician told me it was something else and took my money for $175. I paid no questions asked. Next day, my furnace isn’t working again so I call this company again. This time, the technician and his manager comes. Manager comes in rudely and goes straight to the furnace and diagnose the problem, which was the thermostat being faulty. So they switch out the part and the technician apologized for not doing that the first time. I thought they would be fixing their mistake, since it should’ve been fixed the first time but NO. They charged me $175 for their mistake for 2nd time coming to my house…. Not very professional since that’s not how you run a business. For me, when I have clients who want me to come back for something that I was at fault for, I don’t charge them twice. It seems like this company is more money hungry than keeping their customers service at a decent level.

Bill and BJ kept me informed about my HVAC and water heater quotes as well as making sure the finance side went smoothly. Before he started, he took the time to explain exactly what he would be doing, and afterward, he walked me through everything he found. What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He noticed additional issues, took pictures so I could see exactly what he was seeing, and clearly explained my options without making me feel pressured. • This week I had my HVAC replaced by Queen City Heating, Air, and Plumbing, I also had them add a mini split to my sunroom. From the initial walk-through and propsal development with BJ (about one month prior to install), I felt like I was getting advice from a trusted friend. I went through a few other companies and their sales people seemed rushed, some condescending, and most of their proposals lacked sufficient detail. BJ didn't try to up sell me any features or equipment, he addressed all of my concerns, we worked through the details a few times before I felt comfortable with my equipment selections, placements, and extras. He was patient and helpful. On the day of my install the team arrived a little before 9AM. Topher, Sam, Elvis, and Peyton worked with few breaks into the evening past 10PM. They all were very kind and patient. Each of them worked fairly independent of one another on the various areas of my project, teaming up to trouble shoot or for safety. As busy as they were, they all took time to answer my pesky questions and didn't seem the least bit bothered. I had no idea the install would take all day and be so challenging. I cannot commend this team enough on their professionalism. It was dark when they were cleaning up and despite the area being sparsely lit, the work areas were immaculate, no damage to the home, and the work compliments the interior and exterior of my home.
