  • Wally is so knowledgeable! What a nice guy. He’s a great asset for SHC. I first met him last fall at my neighbor’s. I had to finish out a yearly contract with another company. Wally was here this morning. So glad I switched!

  • The upstairs of our older house just gets entirely too hot in the summer. We got in person visits from four HVAC service companies. Two ghosted me and the third simply declined the job. Joe was eager to get rolling and actually gave me a paper estimate before leaving. They installed a heat pump outside and connected it to an air handler in the attic, running ducts to each of the upstairs rooms through the ceiling. This was not a particularly easy job with how much crawling around in the attic was required! Suffice to say they got it done well, were very respectful and polite, and responsive to my questions and requests. It’s also a great feeling knowing that we’re in good hands with maintenance going forward.

  • Jerry and Blake arrived on time and worked diligently all day in order to get my equipment up and running. A lot of the time Blake worked outside in inclement weather conditions. The work area was cleaned up before their departure and Jerry explained the equipment before he left. I give their performance a 👍🏼 !!!

  • Our ducts were dripping water and we were concerned that there was a problem with the AC. I called after hours and Joel came out and checked everything out and showed me the AC reading and that everything was operating as it should. It was just high humidity in the basement.

  • (Update to Initial Review:) My husband and I have so much faith in SHC that, each year, we take advantage of their annual service agreement. We have found SHC to be very honest with us. They never overcharge and they never try to hard sell you on a service or product. Josh just left our home after doing the annual furnace inspection. The inspection was covered by the service agreement, so no charge to us. I've never dealt with any SHC employee that wasn't professional, efficient, thorough and kind. We enjoyed having Josh in our home this morning. My husband actually said a few moments ago that if I did a review, I needed to mention that it's great seeing the same SHC faces in our home year after year. He made the excellent point that it speaks highly of a company that retains the same highly-experienced technicians for years. As a couple of senior citizens, we can't imagine trusting anyone other than SHC with our HVAC needs. (Initial Review:) The SHC website says to "Put The HVAC Pros On The Case." Yes, you should definitely consider doing that! In our 70's, my husband and I have dealt with many contractors through the decades. SHC is top-notch. Our air-conditioner gave up the fight when the daytime temps reached near 90 degrees. Based on reviews we reached out to SHC. From our initial phone call of inquiry, to the end-of-job cleanup, it was a five-star experience for us. The professionalism, responsiveness and timeliness of this company and staff are impressive. We very much appreciated the very clear problem-explanation that Josh gave after his initial inspection and the numerous options SHC made available to us to address the problems. With all the options available to us, Josh never tried to "upsell" us on any product or service ... no pressure ... just choices. If your home is too hot or too cold, call SHC and "Put The HVAC Pros On The Case." They really are PROS!

  • Quality service and spends time explaining things and answering my questions

  • Sears install tech was knowledgable and responded quickly to my need for furnace replacement. Great installation and new Bryant Furnace works perfectly!

    Ric C.

  • I had a fantastic experience replacing our AC and furnace with this company. Jamie came out first, clearly walked me through all our options, and answered every question. When scheduling, the person on the phone (I believe her name was Carly) was polite, helpful, and shared a few laughs with me. Joe and Blake handled the installation and were extremely respectful. Joe was awesome and kept me updated every step of the way, and despite working in a tight crawlspace, both technicians maintained a remarkably positive attitude throughout the day. Prices seemed to be average to the competitors, but chose Sears based on my positive experience with Jamie. It’s clear this company treats its employees well and it shows.

  • Great job spotting the problem and moving to next level.

  • Joel did a fabulous job Joel did an outstanding service check up. .. Very thankful for His work

  • Sears responded quickly and scheduled an estimate with me the same day our AC went out. They carry Bryant units which is the same manufacturer as Carrier. Our old system lasted 28 years so we went with the same manufacturer. Jamie, the owner, gave the estimate himself and was very knowledgeable and professional. They did not apply pressure sales tactics to get us to do a full system replacement. They offered to send a technician to work on the old system, but we already planned to replace the system due to age and wear and tear. It’s a breath of fresh air to work with a family company with less sales and fluff. Their pricing is reasonable for high quality products. Nearly half the price of Worthington Air, by the way, who quoted the exact same products for a laughable $28,000 for a house less than 2,000 square feet. Jerry, Joe and Andres installed and were kind, respectful and so efficient. We are pleased and would highly recommend.
