  • Travis is a professional, polite, hard working young man. We had water damage within a wall, and had to start an insurance claim (ugh). We asked Travis to "find leak source". Travis found the issue quickly, dealt with it (with minimal damage to expose the problem hidden in the wall), explained everything to me, took pictures, showed me the repair in detail, and completed multiple tests on his work (more than "triple-checked"). Fair pricing. Honest. I would not call anyone else for plumbing or heating jobs (he recently did our annual furnace and fireplace tune-ups... same quality work). Thank you Travis.

  • I was referred to TKC Mechanical by another HVAC company because their AC staff were quite busy. My call to Travis didn't go through but the voicemail encouraged me to text so I did that. I was pleasantly surprised to see him respond promptly there. I was able to confirm that he worked on my AC brand and we scheduled an appointment the following day to diagnose the issue. He let me know there's a diagnostics fee that I felt was fair. On the day of, Travis arrived early and got to work after I explained the problem with my AC. Turns out, it was an easy fix (reboot!) but he also pointed out that I was missing an air filter. I got that sorted outside of his help since the filter is an extremely odd size not carried in most retail stores. During the appointment, I also got some questions about my gas boiler and my air exchanger answered. Based on our discussion, I also got my air exchanger serviced. I felt Travis was really knowledgeable about these topics. He was very patient with me as I pestered him with questions. His invoice was very detailed. I never felt rushed or just another number to him. I didn't get multiple quotes from other vendors, but I would say that the pricing felt fair. I wasn't charged for the AC diagnosis but I was charged for fixing the AC and getting my air exchanger serviced. There was also no travel pricing (it should have taken him about 30 minutes one way to get to my address). The only slight issue I would have is about payment. He added my credit card details directly into the application he uses to track his work. I wished that instead he had sent me the invoice and I would have paid that on my computer/phone instead. I am planning to reach out to TKC later this year to get my furnace checked over. I'll see if there are other ways to pay him then.
