• One of the Most Disappointing HVAC Experiences I've Ever Had Stay away from TopCare HVAC. This company charged us over $2,300 CAD to repair an AC unit and, despite that significant expense, the system did not even function properly for two weeks. Imagine paying thousands of dollars for a "repair" only to find yourself right back where you started almost immediately. The most frustrating part is that after collecting over $2,300 from us, they then expected us to spend thousands more on a replacement unit. It felt less like a genuine attempt to solve a problem and more like a strategy to keep extracting money from the customer. My property manager personally contacted the owner in an effort to find a fair and reasonable solution. Instead of showing concern for a customer who had just spent thousands of dollars on a failed repair, the owner came across as completely indifferent. There was no accountability, no meaningful effort to make things right, and no appreciation for the fact that their work had not delivered the result we paid for. As a landlord, I was left dealing with frustrated tenants, additional costs, wasted time, and an AC system that still wasn't reliable. We even requested a reasonable credit toward a replacement unit given the amount already spent on repairs, but the company showed little interest in standing behind its work. The entire experience left me questioning whether customer satisfaction matters at all to this business. When a company takes over $2,300 from a customer and the system fails almost immediately afterward, you would expect some level of responsibility. Instead, we were met with excuses and demands for even more money. There are countless HVAC companies in the GTA. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise homeowners, landlords, and property managers to look elsewhere. Get multiple quotes. Read reviews carefully. Protect your wallet. TopCare HVAC lost my trust completely, and I would never use them again. Spend your money somewhere that values customers, stands behind its work, and takes responsibility when things go wrong.

• We contacted this company to take a look at our AC that stopped working. They came in the following day. Mo was polite, took the time to explain what was happening, and didn't leave any mess. He replaced the capacitor, but he didn't have fuses available (which I highly recommend keeping). After I bought and replaced them, the AC still didn't work. Mo came back and addressed other fuses in need for replacement (luckily, I had extra ones) as well as the need of charging the freon (which they had available). In general, it was a good experience.
