• We called Tozer air as our air conditioner was not working on June 12. They had a service technician out on the Monday who determined the air conditioner needing replacement. He walked through the whole process and the pros and cons of attempting to fix it vs replacing it. We chose to replace it. On Wednesday we had Herb come by and review our options. Aircl conditioner vs heat pump. He was honest and thorough at explaining the differance as well as cost differance. We chose to have the air conditioner unit replaced. My husband is having surgery next week so they worked at getting us scheduled before to ensure he would be comfortable for his recovery. All 4 of the men were professional, and polite. Justin and Cooper were on time for the install, once completed everything was left clean and tidy. They ensured we had no questions prior to leaving.

From my first visit with Donald, I appreciated his patience and willingness to take the time to understand what I actually needed. He answered my questions without any pressure, which made me feel comfortable with the decisions I was making. They arrived on time both days and got right to it — unloading the new equipment, removing the old system, and carefully installing the new one. • Hats off to the Team at Tozer HVAC,Dave has obviously built a top notch team.We had Donald come and quote an A.C. Unit for us ,before he was able to get back to the office ,I called your efficient front office ladies ,to tell them we wanted to go ahead,and mentioned Donald, had said if we decided within the next hour or so they could also install by Friday,this was Wednesday.After getting off the phone with your ladies,they promptly called back to say they had an installation opening,Thursday instead of Friday. We accepted of course.I had to drop my wife off at an appointment downtown,so we let your office know ,the door was open they could come in and start,and they did just that.By the time I arrived home they were well underway.Tristan and Ethan had things under control,one working inside while the other worked outside.They completed shortly after noon,everything is working well.We will be switching all our HVAC business to you. • It was a smooth installation of a new furnace and heat pump. From the start with Herb he walked me through my options for hardware as well as the Home Renovation Rebate. When the 2 day installation was scheduled the Tozer Team showed up on time. Tristan, Alex and Cooper did a great job. One of them walked me through what was going to happen over the 2 days and the other two got my house ready by putting down runners to protect my floors and stairs. They also made sure to asked me to move anything that was at risk as they brought in the new equipment and removed the old equipment. After the first day they tidied up the work area. After the second day they gave me a walk through of my new equipment and did a great job cleaning up. No debris left behind and nothing left behind for me to throw out. Excellent service and very happy with my Made in Canada Napoleon furnace.

• I called Tozer Heating and Air because I was looking for a family owned business. When you call for service do you prefer getting a call center, or someone who works at the business that's going to send out a technician to your home? I sound like an advertisement, but I know I'm not the only one tired of every family owned business being bought up by some huge company, they get rid of the competition, the prices go up and the quality goes down. When I called this place I spoke to a very kind and helpful receptionist. I don't want to name people publicly just in case they aren't comfortable with that, but I'm sure everyone who works he knows who I mean. The technician who came to my place was very polite and nice. They were honest that the buzzing in our A/C unit was not critical and didn't try and push a repair on us. They didn't try to upsell and only told me about additional services when I asked about them. The visit went longer than the scheduled time (I think), and I appreciate the thorough job and attention to detail. I couldn't answer most of their questions due to my own lack of knowledge but they found and figured out everything required. Highly recommend. In these times where major companies are buying up everything, things are getting more expensive, and you're lucky to wait on hold to talk to a real customer service agent instead of a bot, we need to tell each other about businesses like this. If you go to a local business that does good work, let them know and let us know too.
