• Preston and Harley did great work for us today. They diagnosed two separate problems and were able to fix one of them while they were here, which was a wiring problem. The cost for fixing that problem was very reasonable. The second problem is an expansion valve replacement, which is a bigger job, so that will have to be scheduled for later in the month. But even with today’s fix our system is back up and running well enough to tide us over till the expansion valve can be done. We’re also considering replacing the ductwork, and they gave us a solid estimate for that too. I was expecting them to say we needed a whole new system, but I was surprised to learn that our system is only five years old and can be repaired and last a long time yet. So, kudos to Viking for not upselling us on unnecessary stuff. I’m very happy with these guys so far. Thank you Preston and Harley! The price range shown in this review is for the diagnosis and also the wiring repair, not the expansion valve replacement, which hasn’t been done yet.

• In the recent heat wave our AC suddenly stopped working. We contacted Viking and they had their team come out much faster than I expected since we are having such excessive heat. I received text and email updates confirming the appointment and even got a photo of the technician who would be arriving. It was nice to know who to expect at my door. Kevin & Harley were very knowledgeable and gave me an estimate of the cost for the repair they expected to find and then confirmed before making the repair. They had the condenser part that needed replacing with them and our AC was working great in such a short time!! Kevin checked the whole system and gave us advice for future maintenance of the system with zero sales pressure, just friendly education. I really appreciate the company’s excellent customer service and will absolutely call them for our maintenance and any repairs we may need.
