I am very pleased with the entire experience with A1. I scheduled a AC tuneup and Kyler was the technician that responded. Very pleasant, courteous and efficient. He completed the service and provided tips on making the AC system more efficient. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this business. Steve went the extra mile in diagnosing all the issues with my 1994 HVAC system, which needs replacing. He was so pleasant, patient and helpful! He even was concerned about a noise coming from my other, newer system, and tightened the loose screw that was causing it. He also checked all of my smoke detectors to make sure I have carbon monoxide alerts due to a potential risk stemming from the failing system. He wrote a thorough report, a replacement estimate, told me what retro-fitting would be needed, as well as the proper, legal procedure to dispose of the old R22 freon. Richard, the manager, was equally friendly, helpful and patient in getting the reports to me. I definitely trust this company to do the installation, as I know they'll do everything right. The quote for a new system was very fair, especially considering how much retrofitting has to be done, as well as needing a crane to hoist it over a wall. I'm so glad I called them!

Steven did fine! I just wish he would have turned it on to see the outside unit wasn't coming on and at least diagnosed it so I know what I'm looking at to fix it!! 100.00 for saying ya it's dirty and leave was kinda step for me and my budget!I have been without air for days now and I have animals that have to be tended to and not overheat in the house!! The unit is only 4 years old and should be under warranty from Strongbuild but they aren't around anymore and I'm left with no AC!! I'm disabled and taking care of my autistic nephew and we are burning up in here!! Thank God it's not as hot as it's been in the past months!! 850.00 is kinda step for just cleaning the unit and I don't know what to do!! Life is hard I guess and everyone is out to make money but that seems a bit ridiculous for the work involved !! I would not recommend A-1 plumbing and air to anyone that doesn't have money to burn!! Steven was great, he did everything he could for me not to have to replace my system unfortunately it was too old. I appreciate his great Chester service and honesty, he tried everything he could think of for me to repair the system and get it going for a little bit longer and thank you to him for helping me get through the process in getting a new system.
