• Editing my review again. I've been an Aire One customer for about 10 years. Over that time, I haven't been very pleased with my experiences, but after I posted a 1 star review they reached out and were able to address my concerns. On reflection, I don't think they deserve 1 star, but I would still hesitate to recommend them. I'm about to move to a new house and will be using a different company, and I'll see if I had a uniquely bad experience or perhaps the whole industry is hard to deal with. Who knows.

• I had Air One come to my home to diagnose an issue with my tankless water heater. After very little testing, I was told that the heat exchanger had failed, that it wasn’t worth repairing, and that I should replace the entire unit at a cost of over $5,000. I decided to do some testing myself and realized it wasn't the heat exchanger. I then contacted another company for a second opinion. They quickly found that the actual problem was a faulty valve and repaired the unit with only a $150 part. Unfortunately, they also discovered a much more serious issue: the exhaust pipe had never been properly seated past the gasket and had been slowly leaking exhaust into our home. This was extremely concerning and, in my opinion, a serious safety issue. The second company also found that the water heater had never been properly set up from the beginning, despite the original installation being done by Air One. The recirculation pump had also never been activated, meaning we had potentially been wasting a significant amount of money on energy and water over the years. Based on this experience, I am very disappointed with Air One’s service and the original installation. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to an expensive replacement, especially when the unit may have a much simpler and less expensive repair. I have already contacted Air One directly about these concerns. Their response was to offer me a refund for the original service call and nothing more. That does not address the time I wasted doing my own testing, the time I had to take off work for multiple service calls, or the costs associated with having another company correct issues with the original installation. I am posting this review so other customers can make an informed decision. I also ask Air One not to respond by asking me to contact them privately, as I have already done so and have attempted to resolve this directly. At this point, I feel the issues deserve to be addressed publicly based on my experience.

• I would never recommend. I chose them because they had 5 stars on google reviews. However, they completely came at a different time than my appointment and my boyfriend happened to talk them. I tried to call them multiple times because I got a notification that the technician was on the way to tell them not to come because I was at work and had to take time off that afternoon to meet them for my actual appointment time. Unfortunately they only had an AI bot on the phone so it wasn’t any help. The technician immediately gave me a red tag where I have 30 days to fix the issue or my gas gets turned off. I’ve since had 2 other companies come in who both said the red tag wasn’t warranted. So glad I paid 225$ for them to complicate things. I would never recommend them to anyone.

• Amanda the AI assistant has super attitude and is incredibly unhelpful... she keeps putting me on hold for 5 minutes and then the phone would get disconnected. We also got really aggressive AI generated emails after experiencing credit card fraud- the bots knew before our cards were even reissued and we were receiving threats of being sent to collections after a week of having a frauded card on file. I couldn't get through to a person for another 2 weeks, I kept getting hung up on... please, for your customers sake, reconsider this aggressive use of AI. Henny was super helpful and got us taken care of and booked in for service within 5 minutes of calling me. ***Just want to follow up, we did have someone come, they were incapable of doing what we needed and very condescending talking to us. They gave us quotes for $600 worth of maintenance care but could not help with what we asked. There has been zero follow up except several AI generated emails asking to book for the unnecessary additional services. We had another local HVAC company come and they were able to help us, no problem. They agreed with the maintenance required and we're about $200 less in their quotes. They also were able to come much quicker. I have been trying to cancel my monthly membership but can't get that as an option. Aire One used to be top notch with customer service and their AI use is certain costing them business, they are not valuing their customers as much as they once did. There are other companies out there these days with the monthly membership who seem to care more.*** Another update, its now been 3 months I've been trying to cancel the monthly membership, I was talking to a manager, Muskan, on August 11th, who guaranteed me that it would be canceled and that has not happened. They asked me to change my review rating, which I would have had our account actually been canceled like we asked over 3 months ago. The care team did not reach out to me as reported, Muskan has and thats it... Run, do not join the membership!!!!! This is worse than a gym you can't quit...

• Vivek was kind, knowlegeable and respectful . He took great photos of the work he had done and condition of the furnace and AC . Great company too! We do the monthly fee which makes the yearly inspections reasonable. 45 including tax a month for AC and furnace maintenance. So 540 for the year . It's not too bad as the service is 1.5 hrs long . The plan includes 2 complex air filters and other perks and I suggest you call them to ask what they are.
