• An absolutely unacceptable experience, from the damage caused during the plumbing job to the way this company has handled my concerns afterward. The job resulted in significant damage to my home, including flooring that is now lifting. The plumber told me a superior instructed him to cut a pipe before it had drained properly. He also stated that he would not have done the job this way in his own house. That is an alarming admission from someone working in your home. He did not bring adequate cleanup supplies and took towels from my laundry room without asking to clean up the mess. Greg originally came to assess the damage and discuss what happened. He told me they would work on the invoice amount, asked me to monitor the damage and get back to him, and told me to hold off in the meantime. I followed his instructions. I have since been told he is either no longer with the company or on leave. That staffing situation is understandable. What is completely unreasonable is now treating my bill as overdue when their own representative told me to wait while these issues were being addressed. When I spoke with another representative, Keegan, he told me they had completed the job and that the damages were an insurance problem. When I raised the fact that my towels had been taken without permission, he responded by asking whether I wanted $10 taken off my bill for my used towels. That response was dismissive and insulting. Taking my belongings without asking and then trivializing my complaint shows a complete lack of respect. The owner has also told me to submit an insurance claim and pay the invoice. There have been conflicting statements about pricing, with the company insisting we agreed on a price while I was told after completion that the cost would be higher. I am left with damaged flooring, an unresolved complaint, and payment demands that contradict the instructions I was given. This company needs to take responsibility for its workmanship and stand behind what its representatives tell customers. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend them.

• The positive: Cornerstone answered my call and was able to send someone same day The negative: they charge you for sending a vehicle to your home even if they're are in the area, this is a $40 fee on top of a $125 service fee. I had an issue with my hot water heater and listened to the tech say things like "I have never seen that before" and "I wonder how that's happening". He called someone at a supplier to try and get information and then said they would get back to me on a quote for a new system. In and out in 20 minutes. When the quote came in it was extremely high compared to other quotes. Summary: good if you need someone quick, expect to pay a lot. I'll look at other providers first for future needs

• During recent reno , Cornerstone electrical team, Chase and Stephen found existing connections- not grounded They investigated checking every outlet in the house and found that only the plugs on the outside walls were affected and it was just the grounding. After considering all possible options (some possibly involving messy, expensive additional reno OR leaving it ungrounded!!) They took a chance and ran a new ground wire to the main 'feed" for the problem sites. SUCCESS- an hour + well spent!.
