  • Excellent experience with Halls Heat and Cool. Todd did a fantastic job replacing our split AC system . Professional, punctual, knowledgeable and clean. I would recommend his services to anyone needing HVAC work.

  • AC broke down on Canada Day. Phoned, they answered the phone, problem was fixed by noon. Great place. We have been using them for over 20 years.

  • Hall’s is my go to place when I’m having furnace issues. Very quick response time and Todd is just a standup guy all around! He takes the time to explain the issues and the prices are very fair compared to other places I’ve got quotes from!! Thank you again Todd for your awesome service when our furnace wasn’t working in the dead of winter! Hopefully no more furnace issues for me, but if there are, I know who I am calling!

  • Todd was able to provide us with a furnace on short notice. He was very efficient and pleasant to deal with, and got the job done in a timely manner for which we were very grateful. Highly recommended!

  • I contacted Hall’s Heat and Cool Inc in August to inquire about fixing our Vanee system and had someone come to take a look at it. I was told I would receive a quote with options on how much it would be to either fix the unit or replace the unit within that week. It’s been over a month that I’ve been waiting for the quote. I’ve called back twice to follow up and confirm they have the correct email to send it to and I have still not received a quote. I am disappointed that I spent $130 on a service call that took less than 20 min and have received no follow up about what my options are going forward. Oct 1 Update- Thanks for the response. Please still send the quote. I do not see it in my inbox yet.

  • I'm in the market for a new furnace and gave Hall's Heat & Cool the opportunity to give me an estimate. I've worked with this company in the past and had a good experience. What I did like was the owner came to my home and spend a lengthy amount of time assessing my heating system and had some good advice. I'm not interested in a budget friendly furnace or will base my final decision solely on price. That information was relayed at the time of inspection. Working with a locally owned company and knowing the owner is directly involved will also affect my decision. I've been patiently waited for over a month for the estimate and left two voice messages kindly asking for my estimate. Still waiting....

  • Hall's saved my butt! The blower on my ancient furnace seized up, so no A/C during the hottest days of the year. I was planning on replacing the furnace soon anyway, but since I had just purchased the house, I can't immediately afford that. I just wanted a stop-gap solution. After another company assessed the problem and sent me a repair estimate for $6500 - which was ridiculous - I turned to Hall's for a second opinion. Because the part would be difficult to find, being a very old furnace, their technician suggested using a generic blower. She returned the next day with a brand new blower, replaced the old one, and the total cost was $850! Now, the A/C is working fine, and I'm thankful that I sought a second opinion. Hall's is now my go-to company for future heating and cooling problems!

  • Just purchased a new home where my AC wasn't working correctly. Service was excellent when they checked my AC unit, very polite and explained everything that was going on within the unit. Purchased my the new AC from them as well and it was the quickest service I've ever had. The two guys were polite and arrived on time and we let them do there thing. Couple hours later our new AC was up and running! Excellent service from service call to installation. Highly recommend, very proficent and very professional. Hands down my go to. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

  • Had a brand new Cadet boiler installed by Halls approximately 10 years ago. It replaced a boiler that was a approximately 30-40 years old that worked without issue until the day I replaced it. The newer boiler has been nothing but problems from day one. It has caused me thousands of dollars in repairs since installation. Each and every winter since it was installed I've had to call techs to the house (various companies have serviced it). Often 2-3 visits are required every winter. The machine died today and needs to be replaced entirely - approximately 10 years later. Terrible product. They sure don't make them like they used to. *** Edit: in response to the company response*** Yes, Halls Heating and cooling has serviced this boiler after the installation, as have 3 other companies - every single winter. I've also been told that Cadet is no longer in business, and that replacement parts are no longer available. Was just quoted $18,000.00 for replacement.

  • Great

  • They sent a 'technician' to check my leaking hot water tank and give us a quote AND they failed to check for the warranty as they said they would. Bad, bad. They therefore quoted me 2000 dollars higher than the next company who found it to be still UNDER WARRANTY

  • Expensive and unprofessional.

  • We had issues with our furnace on Christmas Eve. Todd came and got it working. It once again stopped working and Todd came in the early hours on Christmas day to once again get it started. When it stopped again we purchased a new unit and air conditioner which were installed efficiently by Justin and Chris, two technicians who were professional, courteous, and nice to deal with.

  • This is on behalf of an elderly friend in Mini Lakes who does not own a cell phone or computer. She needed some doors that were damaged by a previous repair fixed. Todd came promptly and is dealing with the doors and was very kind and patient with my elderly friend as she had questions about the workings of the furnace. Thank you for supporting her all these years.

  • I had a service call over a month ago for the air purification system Hall's sold to us. The technician wasn't sure what the problem was. She said she would consult with Todd and someone would get back to me. I've had no response even after calling twice to follow up. Wasted $130 on a service call. Won't be using Hall's ever again.

  • Great service from Hall's replacing our AC last year and water heater this year. Chris and Justin went above and beyond rearranging the mess of piping on the previous install and had us up and running in no time. Skilled guys who get the job done.

  • Called for a quote on a new furnace and air conditioner 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything back from them

  • Unfortunately we had a poor experience with this company which has always been very good to deal with in the past. We have waited more than a month to get a proper explanation for a failing furnace. They send an apprentice, same person twice, which couldn’t diagnose the issue. Finally sent someone else who immediately pinpointed the issue. Waited to hear about a part they were supposedly ordering. Never heard, waited some more. Finally called another company who ordered it right away. Terrible communication, very rude service man, won’t return calls at all despite repeated calls from us to get a call back, just very poor overall. We won’t work with them again. As customers we felt ignored, disrespected and thoroughly frustrated.

  • Our furnace broke down in December and the company we originally called out for the repair, left us with a red -tagged furnace and no heat for 2 days, telling us that we wouldn't be able to get a new furnace due to Covid. So, I called Halls. They were quick to respond and had someone out to our house within hours to confirm the issue. They were able to install a new furnace the very next day! The people were friendly and efficient and the price was very reasonable. Since then we have had a few small incidence with the furnace cutting out when we changed the heat settings. Each time, they have had someone here same day and got our heat back up and running. The problem was identified and repaired quickly under warranty with no hassles. Overall this is one of the best customer service experiences we have ever had. Despite the hiccups we had, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them if I ever find myself in need of their services again.

  • We use them for our commercial/ Retail locations. Fast service , accurate quoting and never left us without heat or A/C

  • My furnace is broken I called them a week ago and I’m still waiting tried calling to find out if and when the parts would be installed, no one ever returned my call I don’t recommend this company to anyone you waste your time and your money

  • Our furnace died today and the technician girl showed up 30 minutes after I called! Talk about service! She was fast and had us up running in no time. So far so good!

  • Furnace died and Hall's came by the same day. Technicial who installed the new furnace (Justin) was very courteous, kind, professional, and helpful on explaining everything that he was working on. Highly recommended!

    John A.

  • Hall's has saved us twice now. The first time was a few years ago when our furnace died a few days before Christmas. They were literally the only company that would consider replacing it and finished up Dec 24. Not an easy task in a 130 yr old house. They also had to add additional ductwork in just three days. This time, our central air broke down on an extremely hot day. I phoned Sunday around 7 pm, received a call from Todd around 8 pm, had a technician here at 11 am Monday and had cool air an hour later. For a reasonable cost. We highly recommend them.

  • Purchased a new furnace from Hall's Heat & Cool last September, both heat and air conditioner work wonderful! Best part was the new furnace was compatible with our existing air conditioner (that still works great after 18+ summers). Other companies that quoted said both would need to be replaced. Thanks Hall!

  • Water Heater Fixed Immediately. We put out a call to Hall's in the morning. The boys arrived on time and were very professional in their work. They replaced my water heater with a new one. No questions asked. The guys (Justin & Doug) were knowledgeable, and courteous. I had no issue with them at all. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed repair work on their water heater, or AC.
