  • I recently hired Aido Climate Solutions to remove my old furnace and central air conditioner and replace them with a brand-new furnace and heat pump. I am incredibly impressed by their professionalism from start to finish. The process began with Latif, who came out to inspect my old system and provided a great initial consultation. My sales representative, Khiem Nguyen was also fantastic—highly knowledgeable, informative and incredibly supportive throughout the process. The installation crew—Marc, Matthew, Andrew, and Keane—did an outstanding job. They were polite, respectful, and highly efficient. To top it all off, they thoroughly cleaned up the entire workspace when they finished, leaving everything spotless.   • I installed my new furnace from Costco, Shawn is helping me with the transaction, he followed up with each step from the beginning until the heat pump was also installed, I just followed what he told me to do, he also did the rebate for me. Also the technician, Tanuj, who installed both the furnace and heat pump is very polite and nice. He explained to me each time he finished installing, he also teach me patiently regarding the new thermostat which goes with the heat pump. I will recommend the Aido

  • UPDATED 2026: Excellent customer service and expertise. Installed a central air system in 2023. The team installed then discussed tips and maintenance with me to ensure performance and lifespan of our new equipment. Had a problem with the Air Conditioner 2026, stopped cooling. It turned out to be a major repair, evaporator coil replacement. Aido got the new part within three days of finding the problem. Marc the HVAC master from Aido came over and had the new coil soldered into the furnace and working within a couple of hours. Aido handled the manufacturer warranty info covering parts and labour at no cost. Sometimes things go wrong with complex systems, but when they do it's good to know Aido was on it, all I had to do was call.

  • Aido did not install the cold air return vents on the main floor or second floor. They sent someone to review this. When he came he indicated he had NOT looked at the technical specs! He confirmed that they were not installed and would advise the owner when he got back to the office. That was 7 months ago. Still no call from them.

  • Had a water softener installed. They've been to my home 4 times to try and comply to building code. The last visit, they drove a 1" screw through the plumbing. I've reached out, specifically to a Chrispin Warner (sales manager) through email. Have not heard back for ~2 weeks. In the 4th attempt photo, you can see the embedded screw is impeding water flow enough that water isn't falling due to gravity. When the unit tries to cycle, it causes water hammer. Buyer beware. I'll happily change my review if things are corrected but it looks like I'm on my own. Image descriptions in case they're not displayed in order: [1] => Sewage line exposed to atmosphere [2] => Line capped but no p-trap to prevent backflow [3] => P-trap added, but no air gap [4] => Air gap, but screw restricting flow

  • Abdul Latif from Aido recently completed a repair to a boiler system they installed about three years ago. As there was a water leak from the expansion tank, they responded quickly and replaced the tank same day. Abdul was knowledgeable and made sure the system was running as it should before leaving. Parts and labour were completely covered by their warranty. We were very pleased with this service and their comprehensive warranty coverage.

  • Keane and Andrew solved the issue: a mouse got into our AC unit and shorted out our capacitor! They quickly diagnosed and installed the new component within the day. I had concerns about the lack of temperature change after they left, and they came out one more time the next day to double check things. Friendly team and great service.   • Knowledgeable, instantly knew what problem was with our softener, recommended an improved model. I don’t believe anyone but when I checked online our old softener was too small for the house with super hard Guelph water involved. There is a formula for the size you need! I was impressed he even told us to check out youtube videos to see for ourselves.

  • The whole process went smoothly. They answered all my questions over several days, as I researched different options. When the unit that I wanted was on back order, they found a similar one with components built by the same company but branded differently. This was within 48h. That said, the unit had a current but older generation refrigerant. I was a little perturbed when I learnt this the day of the installation, but the lead installer (Marc) was patient and explained what this meant. In short, I was not buying obsolete technology and the heat pump will likely last longer than my “actuarily probable” (my words) time in the house. All in all, the installation was very clean and both staff on site were very pleasant, and professional. Aido handled all the paperwork for the rebates and the heat pump is working its magic.

  • Hired them to do a basic gas stove connection on existing gas line. Not a good experience, should have listened to my intuition. Called to see if this is something they could do and scheduler didn't know, she would get back to me (red flag). She got back and said yes they could do it and they had availability the next day (red flag). She couldn't give me any kind of cost estimate, I would be charged min $150 call out and the tech would give me actual price(red flag). But I went ahead anyway because we had no stove. Tech shows up, gives me a price of $297+tax, I just about fell over. The old stove was gone, and I supplied all the parts, he literally had to install 1 fitting, connect the hose and leak test. So either I tell him no and have to pay $150 and then pay someone else to do it or cave, good little scam for a set job with no diagnosing involved. To top it off the tech, Abdul Latif, was arrogant and argumentative and spent more time on his phone than doing anything. After complaining they basically threw me a 10% "discount " to go away. Final cost, $300 Inc tax for what should have been probably $175.
