Technician showed up 1 1/2 hours late. In the.process of checking the outside unit he said one of the valves was stripped so he put a lock on it. He said it would $300 to replace the valve and $1000 to replace the Freon. I told him Alabama Cooling and Heating was the only company that had maintained the unit and they should be held responsible for the repairs. He stated to contact Marrisa.

I made an appointment to have my furnace inspection on October 1st, and someone was out here at the pre-set time. My furnace was inspected and now I'm ready for cooler weather, if it ever comes! Our AC unit was not cooling. Temp in the 90s. We were out of town. Called Alabama Cooling and Heating Tuesday afternoon. Mathew came out first thing Wednesday morning. Found the compressor fan was inop. Had to order a replacement fan. Picked it up and installed by 9am Thursday. Works great! Fan in warranty, had to pay labor.

they completed the job but charged about $300 an hour for labor, just one guy. The A/C works, but the price was a shock. On the phone they quoted about $550, it ended up being $850, for the same parts and labor. The materials are about $150-$200 online.
