Friendly, responsive & fair pricing. They serviced are old furnace and kept it working for a couple of years. When it was time to replace the furnace, their prices were reasonable and service was great. We added an Aprilaire to the system which has helped with siunus issues. Highly recommend ARP Heating & Air Conditioning.

We’ve used ARP for over a decade now for hot water tank purchase, air conditioning and furnace maintenance. They are always so responsive, professional and personable. I strongly recommend them for maintenance, repairs, as well as needed replacements.

We’ve been using ARP for the past 4 years and we’ve been very happy with their service. Our 25+ year-old furnace stopped working during one of the extremely cold periods just before Christmas, and it finally hit the point of replacement. ARP went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, and they were able to install a new HVAC system very quickly. They were punctual, courteous, efficient, and provided a very professional and clean installation. The owner even stopped by twice to check on the installation and had excellent communication with us during the entire process. There is no question Andy cares about his company and the customer. We highly recommend ARP as a company!

AMAZING customer service, the owner came out on Christmas Eve morning and was extremely helpful! He fixed it in 5 minutes and was so patient explaining what happened. He waived the service charge as an act of goodwill and wished us a Merry Christmas! I couldn’t thank him enough. As a previous customer in 2017, since then I had heard somewhat mixed reviews but when it really counted, they came through and the service was OUTSTANDING! They’ve gained a loyal customer in us going forward! His estimate for when it breaks for good was also very reasonable compared to others we have gotten in the past! Can’t recommend them enough.

Andy and his team at ARP are the best. A special thank you to Gino and Joe for taking care of our recent issue. Andy and ARP always put the needs of their customers first. Thanks again Andy!

ARP came out to service my mother’s furnace and were able to temporarily get it running. The technician stated it would need a new inducer motor. Later, when they provided a phone estimate for the repair, they refused to give anything in writing, saying, “we do not do a price breakdown.” This felt unprofessional and concerning, especially for a repair service. It’s not fair to treat any customer this way, particularly a single elderly woman. I understand the law requires written estimates for repairs over $25, so it was shocking that they refused—even for a repair, not a new installation. Customers deserve clear, written estimates before approving any work and should also receive a breakdown of parts and labor costs so there’s no confusion about the total price.

Maybe I am just too old, but I get frustrated by every retailer and every service company asking me to take the time to complete a review. Consequently, I rarely give them. HOWEVER, in this case I GLADLY provide one. We have used ARP multiple times now; to install a generator last year and to install a new furnace and AC unit this year. I could not be more happy with ARP's service. From Andy all the way through to the installation teams, technicians and the office staff, everyone is professional, polite, friendly and easy to work with. We all know how hard it can be to find good service companies. Well, ARP is one of the good ones. And I will continue to use them in the future. Even though I feel sort of bad because they have a long way to travel to get to me. But again, that is more evidence of their commitment to service. Thank you.

Andy and his team helped us with several projects, adding electric outlets, hot tub and tankless water heater. They were very professional and speedy. We are happy with the quality as well.

Andy and his crew are the best! Hard-working, polite, efficient and dependable! They just installed a new furnace and air conditioner in my home. The furnace is located in a crawl space that can only be accessed by a hatch outside. They were here all day working in the cramped space in terrible weather. They did a great job. I highly recommend ARP Heating and Air Conditioning!

My air conditioner stoped working in the middle of the hottest month of summer, as they usually do. Charlie was fast, responsive, and affordable. They were more affordable by a mile and installed a full HVAC in less than a day. I can't recommend ARP enough. I will use ARP Heating and Air for all my HVAC needs!

Update (7/16/2024): Changed review from 2 to 5 stars. Andy Pech (Owner of ARP) came out and personally rectified the issue. He didn’t only replace the fan motor, but the whole assembly and hood, including the humidistat and thermostat for free. Even color matched the hood to our roof! I would trust them to do it right, no matter what. ____ Original Review - Last year (2023) Andy came by to give us a quote for a new A/C and furnace. We got three different quotes and I appreciated Andy’s candor and politeness. We didn’t end up moving forward with any quote, but when my house needed a new attic vent fan, I called ARP. A contractor came out and installed our new fan - it worked great and was affordable. Fast forward to Spring 2024. The fan is making a terrible squealing noise. It’s above my 2yr old daughters bedroom. I called in March to have ARP come and troubleshoot. They send a contractor out and he says it’s “working as should”. I attempt to get Andy involved, and he will not respond to any of my calls. I’ve left several messages at the office. Here I am, 4 months later with a squeaking fan. Unfortunately, when I go to replace my furnace and A/C, I won’t be calling ARP.

My fuse was blowing in my hvac unit. Had Arp out and they replaced a fuse...over 300.00 dollars. New fuse breaks 2 weeks later. Arp replaces fuse..175.00. 2 weeks later fuse blows again. I'm not paying another 200 to 300 dollars to trouble shoot a problem I already spent 500 to investigate. I do not recommend! I called again on Friday before Memorial Day weekend and still haven't received a return call.

ARP installed a new furnace on short order for us in December 2023. The job was done very professionally. Also, they pre-filled paperwork we can submit for both a tax credit and a Dominion Energy rebate. We highly recommend ARP after they have maintained our furnace and A/C for many years.

Compressor on outdoor unit failed, and ARP was super helpful in 1st checking with manufacturer on warranty coverage, and then was very flexible & helpful in recommendations on how to get things back up & running. Some other companies that I got quotes from were pretty "one size fits all". Andy & his folks were extremely professional & courteous also!

Always top self service We have used ARP for several years to service and maintain our homes HVAC. Always have been pleased with the quality of service and techs. Our AC's coil just went and we needed to replace the older AC unit. Andy worked with us to find the best option for our home and offered us a good value. The installers were here on time, did a great job, were friendly and courteous and wife wife was thrilled that they were extremely concerned about not making a mess and cleaning up after the job was done. Highly recommended

Andy was very helpful and gave me solutions for my problems. He explains everything and even came out on a Sunday for an emergency when the company that installed my generator would not. I would definitely use them in the future and for any generator or electrical needs.

We got our new Lenox 98% efficiency furnace and thermostat from ADL Heating eight weeks ago. We’ve been cozy ever since, even in the most frigid weather, with perfect humidity and none of the cold spots in our house we previously experienced. The ADL furnace installation was efficient and quick. (A visitor wanted to stand and admire the orderly installation.) Everything on the installation is squared up nicely to the eye. The copper tubes and polyethylene tubing are fastened neatly and snugly. Needless to say, we are very pleased and have been especially well served by ADL Heating.

Heroes drive white vans and go by Andy. We woke up on 30 degree Thanksgiving morning to no heat. My wife was 8 months pregnant, our 3 year old wasn't happy, and we had a turkey to bake. Being new home owners, we hesitantly called the number on our furnace at 7am. To our surprise, someone answered and by 8am Andy, the ARP owner, was in our basement fixing our furnace. He entertained our toddler with step-by-step instructions throughout the repair. Look no further than ARP for all your heating and cooling needs...we know we won't.

I have been using them for years now. Service technicians are top notch, clean up after service well and are on time. This time my aged furnace died, and they were able to install a new heater and a/c the next day. I couldn't be happier. Front office has always been helpful and cheerful on the phone.

Our 22 year old system was on the way out. ARP's installers were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and clean (put down rugs and even wore work slippers in the house.) Job was done in no time and they cleaned up so well other than knowing the equipment was new, you'd would have never thought a thing was done. The price paid was very reasonable for the value of the products and service received . We Highly recommend ARP.
