Our company, started in Tucson in 1970, is operated by three of its long-time employees, chosen by the original business owners when they retired in 2007. • After having multiple other HVAC companies come to our house to give us estimates to repair our AC, Tyler at B&J nailed it! He actually listened to us about what the system was doing. We have 3 thermostats and the one in the living area wasn't working correctly. He actually pulled the thermostat off the wall (the first one to do that) and found part of the problem. He then went up into the attic and found the other two problems. The zone board and a damper motor. The guy is a genius! The estimate he sent me was 1/4 of the price of the other high profile companies that misdiagnosed our problem! Tyler was out to fix it all in a couple days. We found our new HVAC company, and will call them whenever we have a problem with our AC! Thank you Tyler and B&J!

• Was having problem with thermostat. Had it set to 78 and AC ran constantly and never shut off. Had to set the thermostat to 83 to get the house to cool to 78. Technician said I might need some sensors installed in different rooms because of thermostats location. Head Technician noticed problem wasn't fixed and came back out next day. He adjusted air flow, checked unit configuration and adjusted settings on the thermostat. I was amazed at how quick they responded to my problem.

I had already received an estimate from another company, but the person who did the estimate kept telling me that what I wanted was not possible when my prior research showed that it was. Lawrence from B & J was wonderful! He listened to what I wanted and said they could do it all. The estimate was actually $1500 more than the other one, but I chose B & J based on the fact that they did not gaslight me or treat me like I didn't know what I was talking about! • I was very happy we found B&J to service our AC units. We purchased our home a few months ago and I wanted a programmable thermostat. The service technician (Nick) came out and not only took me on a tour of our units and the safety features I was not aware of (like the shut off leak detectors) but he also figured out that the thermostat we have just needed to be reset as programmable. I say this because I was ready to purchase a new thermostat from them but didn't need to. The Thec said was a leak paid 290dls for the diagnostic then he said it was another 290dls to let me know where the leak was paid 580 just for diagnostic to know where a leak was . Results 2900dls if I wanted to fix It was more expensive than to buy a new fridge .

• Simple diagnosis and repair (failed induction fan). They gave me the “over the barrel” treatment charging me $910 to replace a $180-200 part in less than 30 minutes. I expect that contractors will mark up equipment prices, but this just robbery. I have had good experiences with them in the past, but this is the last time I will go to them. I suggest others look elsewhere.

• Stay away from these guys at all costs! Had them come out for three separate problems on my 3 year old home after the performed the install. 1st visit, water was pooling around air handler, said it was over charged (they installed the system!) 2nd time, A/C was out of Freon and not kicking on. Tech discovered there was a leak but was not successful to find it. Now that I'm out of labor warranty, A/C is leaking from coil. Very convenient.... Stay away from their sloppy craftsmanship! EDIT - Had another company come out and fix the problem, B&J DID NOT EVEN DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM CORRECTLY! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!!
